In the dark night, a heartlander travels the bare cold with a torch in hand. Although shivering and the numb feeling of frostbite clawing at his fingers he places his steps to get home. He believes, he’ll get there.  A strong breeze picks up. One that would send shivers down any creature’s spine. a small splat like sound followed by crisping paper could be heard on his left. A small paper had latched on to him due to the wind.

Continuing his path he carefully read the wrinkled paper.  With squinted eyes, he would read the following:

 

”The Crescent Moon Gathering

 

For any sentient being who enjoys him or herself a warm welcome is now invited by this parchment to our gathering. It would be a meeting of great minds who wish to share their ideas, talk and seek for potential partners for their investigations. Inventors are welcomed to share their ideas with present the group. Knights or warriors are invited to show their strength and techniques. Writes and poets can show off their latest works and above all else. No matter the race, you are welcome within this meeting of sharing knowledge. The organizers of this event are here to welcome you and take interest in your ideas as well.

 

We await you here with us. We will hold this gathering with tasteful food and a variety of enjoyable drinks! This get together is big but for particular reasons, secretive. Do you wish to come? Send a bird to our organizer who’s codename shall be Dust.”

 

 

The Heartlander would wrinkle the piece of paper into a ball with his fist. He would throw the paper into wild and keep walking home through the dark night. “I have no time for this. Only the ones who think crazy equals genius do.”

 

And with that the Heartlander would carry on home..
