INITIATION OF NEGOTIATIONS REGARDING THE LEGALITY AND FUNCTIONALITY OF N.A.F.T.A IN THE HOLY ORENIAN EMPIRE

His Royal Majesty King Andrik III, representing the Northern Association for Free Trade & Administration, known as NAFTA, has been entrusted with overseeing the reconciliation between the northern vassals and the Holy Orenian Empire on their behalf.

Carrying this broad mandate, King Andrik III sends his leal envoy to Oren, Konstanz Moritz Barclay, to initiate negotiations with the hope to establish a proper consensus over the many unresolved affairs that were left dormant by the war effort and the succession crisis.

On behalf of Hanseti-Ruska

Envoy to the Crownlands, Konstanz Moritz Barclay (Draeris)

Lord-Palatine, Ser Konrad Stafyr (AndrewTech)

Lord Marshal, Ser Wilheim Barclay (MadOne)

On behalf of Curonia

His Royal Majesty King Pierce I of House Devereux (Blanch)

Chancellor, Ser Angelo de Alba (Suxals)

Hetman, Svetovid Vilchyc (Wulfery)

On behalf of Suffonia

His Highness Archduke Edward I of House Suffolk (Sheczar)

Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Arthur Stephen Suffolk (AuLune)

Lord Treasurer, James Percival Suffolk (Arcean_)

WITH THE FOLLOWING POINTS OF CONTENTION IN MIND:

  • The legality of the Northern Association for Free Trade & Administration, its military alliance, Supreme Court, Taxation zone & diplomatic apparatus.

  • The transition from Lord-Protectorate to a proper Imperial lineage in respects to the Proclamation of Interregnum of 1731 and the Dissolution of House Horen, 1720.

  • Concessions regarding the continued guarantee of vassal autonomy that also respects Imperial integrity as much as its interests abroad.

  • Senate reforms that better represent the desires of northern vassals that they sought to realize through NAFTA.
