An act to ensure the clear illegality and outlawed status of the practice of clipping the ears of Elves.

INTRODUCTION

The purpose of this act is to ensure and reaffirm the illegality of threatening, proposing, or forcing thereof in the clipping, or shearing of Elven Ears, a practice that dates back to the first Empire. Although nominally illegal under T1A5, this act would make it a distinct crime under the T1A5 Law due to the special nature of the crime.

SECTION I:

The Provisions for the crime of shearing.

  1. It shall be classified as Table 1, Act 5, subheader B; (T1A5B)
  2. “Imposing, threatening, or engaging in the clipping of ears towards an Elf, is illegal.”

Introduced by Senator William Napier on the 12th of Godfrey’s Triumph, 1751

Issued and proclaimed,

HIS IMPERIAL MAJESTY, Peter III Anthony, Holy Orenian Emperor, King of Curon, Renatus, Salvus, and Seventis, King-Elect of Kaedrin, Prince of Malinor, Protector of the Heartlanders, Highlanders, and Farfolk, etcetera.
