Issued and confirmed on the 9^th of Sigismund’s End, 1768

ARTICLE I - Pursuant to His Imperial Majesty’s desire to see the application and enforcement of Imperial law throughout his dominions, whether that be affirmed Acts of the Imperial Diet or His Imperial Majesty’s own edicts or other ordinances of his cabinet, this ordinance shall establish the office of His Imperial Majesty’s Lord Lieutenants.

ARTICLE II - His Imperial Majesty’s Lord Lieutenants shall be appointed, through the issuing of the Archchancellor’s advice to the Crown, on an ad hoc basis for whichever region or metropolis may require their presence, with the name of said region or metropolis denoting their office. 

ARTICLE III - His Imperial Majesty’s Lord Lieutenants shall be entrusted with the application and enforcement of Imperial law, tax, and order in the region they are assigned to, as well as serving as His Imperial Majesty’s intermediary and deputy in resolving any conflicts arising from the implementation of legislation.

ARTICLE IV  - His Imperial Majesty’s Lord Lieutenants shall be considered Ministers of the Crown who are entitled to sit upon the Council of State, subject to confirmation by the House of Commons as any other cabinet minister, though like other cabinet ministers serving at His Imperial Majesty’s pleasure.
