Fellow halflings! Times have changed. We as a people have grown, so it only makes sense that we update our laws and such. 

 

The Law 
|🎃| No killing of any kind is allowed inside Brandybrook.
|🎃| Stealing is prohibited inside Brandybrook.
|🎃| Kidnapping of any kind is not allowed in Brandybrook. 
|🎃| The practice of slavery is prohibited in Brandybrook. 
|🎃| No causing chaos inside Brandybrook. 
|🎃| There are religious freedoms. As long as your practice does not harm any person or property
|🎃| All residents of Brandybrook must acknowledge and promise not to be an Ilbees worshipper, a biggun, or the undead.

 

The Law applies to all in Arcas who reside in Brandybrook. Those who break the law will receive a punishment based on the severity of the crime. All punishments will be as followed under the Sheriff's Department:
Multiple Laws broken will call for a trial, where the Elders, Sheriff, and the Thain will judge your actions. Depending, you can and will be banished from Brandybrook! A banishment can be contested once a year (OOC once a week), where you will show us any and all amends you’ve made.

The Traditions
|🎃| All halflings must maintain properness, until improperness is necessary. 
|🎃| Do not take the law into your own hands - get the Sheriff, an Elder or our Thain!
|🎃| No locks on your doors or chests. Hide your valuables inside your floorboards.
|🎃| Halflings are not allowed to use mina's with one another- instead, barter!
|🎃| Do not fight with your own or stir any trouble within Brandybrook or to other kingdoms...
|🎃| No biggun weapons of any kind against a fellow Halfling, use a shovel or a slingshot! 1
|🎃| All Halflings must do their part within the community.
|🎃| Shoes are not allowed within Brandybrook
|🎃| A Halfling must give to their neighbours as their neighbors shall give to them.
|🎃| Recognise the prophets Knox and Arugula, blessed deities to all Halflings regardless of beliefs 
|🎃| A Halfling is allowed to not recognise a god or belief, not including our prophets, as long as they do not tarnish that god or beliefs image.
|🎃| A Halfling never wears armour in Brandybrook.
|🎃| Make sure to replant all crops in any garden.
|🎃| No renovation of any kind inside your burrow - you could cause a burrowslide! If you want additional room, request the Thain! 
|🎃| All Halflings must take at least one bath a week.
|🎃| A Halfling must drink with a friend. Never drink alone!
|🎃| Change will be welcomed, and tradition will be respected.

 

Blatant disrespect of Traditions will get your locked up with the Sheriff! She/He can deal with you as their judgement sees fit, but if you feel it is unfair, appeal to an Elder or the Thain! 

Brandybrook is our home, and halflings your family. Treat them with respect and properness and save shenanigans for the bigguns that deserve it!
