Princedom of Vanmark

The Renaming of Vira’ker

It is by the right of the prince that his principality is renamed.

What we are doing is simply asking those we have diplomatic relations, pleasant and hostile, to speak and write of us by our real name, by the name we have always used ourselves, the Princedom of Vanmark. We want to remove the anomaly of a country being known as that of Mali'ker when it is really the only state of this land that can truly call itself one of Men. This is the doing of Oren harassing us to no extent and orchestrating a defensive pact while labeling us a ‘bandit state.’ I’ve no respect for a man who’s wig is as white as his skin. Today my true colors show and damn it feels good.

Aye, Daniel supports this decision as both mayor and citizen. I look forward to seeing this city and great nation grow. May the Princedom of Vanmark live forever!

Wilheim claps at hearing this news, being a Southeron, he doesn’t like how powdered the wigs are. “I remember when the dark elves almost killed me because my middle name was Othan, then we became friends.” Wilheim clears his throat, remembering that the namesake Othan was because one of their relatives dated an Othan.

The old Mali’ker woman spoke from the soul-stream, saying with a voice filled with annoyance.

“Finally the name of my home and death place shall be renamed, I wouldn’t want to remember my bastard husband.”

Ailmar Velulaei’onn read over the missive with a smile, nodding to himself in approval. ”Took them long enough.” He muttered to himself then. ”Quite odd a Princedom known for attacking neutral cities with no provocations take issue with the title of bandit state. If I’m not mistaken, they have been actively harassing settlements in the South and only stopped when they realized the Empire was getting involved. I can’t help but wonder why they felt like using Dark Elven titles with next to no Dark Elves....but I digress.” He spoke to no one in particular as he wandered around Renelia. The ‘ker then folded up the missive, tucked it away and went about his day.

Daichia Jusmia screams in joy from the spiritual afterlife. The Mali’ker leaps up and dances. Clogging with glee. It is a good day in Stargush. Vira’ker is no more, may its memories finally be laid to rest, and may something new grow from the ancient mistake.

Robert Glasse the Monger would smile knowing now more trade will come from this rebrand and he would think: "its about time"

High Prince Johnathus questions to himself why the dark elves are obsessed with Vanmark. Perhaps some therapy would be better for there mental health. High Prince Johnathus also chuckles because he has just launched a war on the empire and is not scared of a man with a white wig
