 2. New Renelian citizens

  1.  New Renelian citizens or those not yet initialized are those that newly arrived in the city. These new citizens will undergo their citizenship trials, and until then will be restricted from the following:
  1.  Purchasing properties within Renelia. New citizens will however be granted free accommodation within the Akezo Alley apartment building.
  1.  Taking on jobs within Renelia

3. Council of Elders

  1.  The council of Elders is the legal body tasked to oversee the citizenship trials. The council consists of the heads of the Maehr Clans of Renelia, and is lead by the Archon. The current Council of Elders consists of the following Clan heads:
  1.  Ailmar Velulaei’onn
  1.  Qudlia Jusmia

  1.  Narline Morz

4. Citizenship trials

  1.  Upon first moving into the city of New Magara’lin, new arrivals are given free accommodation within the Akezo Alley apartment block. After moving in, a period of three Ashen Nights will be given to set up a meeting with the Council of Elders and the new citizen. During this meeting, they will be given an explanation of each of the clans and will be allowed to choose which Elder will oversee their trials.

  1.  After they have chosen their Elder, they will conduct a series of trials that will aid the new citizen in learning about the history of the ‘ker, the Renelian culture and the Clan they have chosen. These trials will be chosen in advance and approved by the Archon to ensure new citizens are treated fairly.

  1.  Once the trials are completed, the chosen Elder will vouch for the new citizen at their initial ritual. This ritual is a public ceremony, carried out by the Archon and the Elder that looked over the trials.
