Vote Juliyus Kortrevich, 1780

Stepping into the Ring

Having spent several years of his early life on the road, exploring the grand Orenian Empire, Juliyus Kortrevich is ambitious to follow behind his father, the once Palatine of Haense Ser Markus Kortrevich, in the world of politics. Several years in the Brotherhood of Saint Karl has taught Juliyus the skills needed to serve both his fellow denizens and the community at large. The lessons from his lineage of esteemed statesmen and women provide an excellent aptitude for policy making alongside fair and civil dialogue. Juliyus will be running independently to better represent his platform and to stay away from nasty political discourse.

Policy Platform

Municipal Governance - Juliyus Kortrevich wishes to continue improving the relations between the regional governments of Helena, Haense and Kaedrin; all while working to reserve freedoms to each respectable governance, allowing for a smoother system and a happier populace.

Provincial Rights - Juliyus Kortrevich hopes to help create guidelines and definitions for  provincial rights to ensure that vassals are protected and afforded their God given rights.

Budget Balancing - Juliyus Kortrevich wishes to aid in balancing the current budget, while working to decrease overall spending in order for the imperial treasury to support itself. Alongside other candidates, Juliyus will make discussion for more oversight on the spending from government ministries to more permanently balance the accounts.

Vassal Tax - Juliyus Kortrevich promises to weigh the effects of vassal taxation justly.

Military Support - Juliyus Kortrevich desires to continue supporting the multitude of militaries within the Empire by maintaining their autonomy. Alongside this, he wishes to support any motion to enact more recognition and celebration for those who protect us all.
