Ever since childhood, Bykov has interested herself in the realm of politics. Since then, she has studied politics for years and gained experience throughout her life. She began her political career as a teenager by representing House Vanir in the Haense Duma. When she reached young adulthood, she began to work for the esteemed Terrence May. She worked her way up through his ranks and eventually became his Chief of Staff, attending his Senate sittings. During his time as President of the Commons, Bykov continued to work for President May up until his retirement at the end of the term. For the next two terms, Bykov served as a legislator herself, representing the ideals of the Josephite Party. During her last term, she passed two acts in the diet that are awaiting permission from His Imperial Majesty: The Illegal Trade Act and the Child Corporal Punishment Act. If she is elected to serve a third term, Bykov plans to continue to legislate progressive bills that promote equality and unity within the Holy Orenian Empire Stances Economic – Bykov has always supported a fair and free market. Though restrictions must be made to prevent large monopolies, generally, a free market is best for the business owners, which in turn, is best for the consumers and and the economy as a whole. Social – Bykov has always been an advocate for social and civil rights. She has always been an advocate for the common men and women of Oren. For this reason, she is a staunch supporter of land and vassal taxation, which she plans to support in the Imperial Diet. To support civil liberty, she will introduce the Indentured Servitude Act into the Imperial diet. She also believes in equal rights and liberties for all intelligent beings and greater rights for non-intelligent beings, such as Wonks, Kharajyr, and Hou-Zi, as demonstrated by her Illegal Trade Act. As a Member of the House of Commons, Bykov will continue her fight to end racism within the Holy Orenian Empire. Military – The militaristic forces of the Holy Orenian Empire are what keep the citizens of said Empire safe from both interior and exterior. threats For these reasons, our military must be kept in pristine condition, especially considering recent threats regarding Ibless spawns across Korvassa. Both the ISA, HRA, and auxiliary forces must be at the ready at all times in case the threat reaches the Empire. In order to secure the well-being of the citizens, she plans to introduce the National Security Act into the Imperial diet. Other – Because she is from the Kingdom of Hanseti-Ruska, Bykov has always supported provincial rights. If re-elected, Bykov will advocate and support increased rights for the various provinces of the Empire. Plans National Security Act – An act that will require Empire-wide drills, escape plans, and escape paths in the case of emergency. Indentured Servitude Act – An act that will restrict indentured servitude within Oren. Advocate for the common people. Advocate for civil rights. Advocate for provincial rights. Enforce vassal and land taxation. Support the Josephite agenda.
