INTRODUCTION

 

The purpose of this act is to penalize the conducts that could gravely alter the correct functioning of the Imperial Institutions of our State and to prevent any individual from committing these conducts, increasing the legal protection and strength of the Imperial Institutions.

 

SECTION I:

Definitions

 

“Imperial Diet”: The legislative assembly of the Holy Orenian Empire, formed of the House of Commons and the House of Lords.

 

“Agent of the Law”: Any member of an imperial law enforcement agency, such as the Imperial State Army or the Imperial Constabulary.

 

“Imperial Courts”: The Judiciary of the Holy Orenian Empire, formed of the Central Circuit Court and the Supreme Court.

 

“Imperial Office”: The Imperial Throne, currently held by Their Imperial Majesties, Anne I and Joseph II of Novellen, Holy Orenian Emperors.

 

SECTION II:

On Amending the Orenian Revised Code

 

The following articles will hereby be added,

 

1. 204.014 - Strong Institutions Act (1791): On Disobedience
   1. 204.0141 - Where an individual refuses to appear before the Imperial Diet after being summoned by one of its chambers, this shall be the crime of disobedience in third degree, an infraction.
   2. 204.0142 - Where an individual refuses to appear before the Imperial Courts after being summoned by its presiding Justice, this shall be the crime of disobedience in third degree, an infraction.
   3. 204.0143 - Where an agent of the law refuses to enforce a Ruling, Writ or Order of the Imperial Courts, this shall be the crime of disobedience in second degree, a misdemeanor.
   4. 204.0144 - Where an agent of the law refuses to enforce a direct order of the Imperial Office this shall be the crime of disobedience in first degree, a felony.
