A depiction of some  titanic bones in the Kharasi Oasis

Introduction

Since publishing my paper about the Kharasi Oasis, I have been approached with a theory that could possibly explain the Titanic Bones that are found in the desert regions. This paper aims to explain the theory and the reason that I believe it is valid.

The Theory

This theory, as proposed by Dilvyn Deveral and discussed between him and myself goes something like this. Long ago, before any descendants arrived in Almaris, there were many different primitive tribespeoples that lived throughout the lands. These people lived and created the structures in the Elvenesse and Krugmar regions, lived nomadically in the desert, and also lived in small structures in the north.

During the time that these people controlled the continent that we know as Almaris, Titans of sorts roamed these lands. It is believed that these tribespeoples - specifically the ones of the Kharasi Desert region - hunted these Titans. After hunting these large beings, these tribespeoples would then take off all the skin, fur, and flesh from them to be used for various crafts and for religious purposes. It is also believed that many of these tribes went nearly extinct close to the same time that the Titans did, perhaps from a lack of available food or resources.

While this may seem like a stretch so far, there is evidence to back up our theories.

The Evidence

Evidence Piece One:
The first piece of evidence that supports our theory is the odd writings and runes on some of the large bones. While some may claim that these scribbles were done by descendants, there is currently no translation available for these writings, which supports the idea that these writings are from long before our time. The purpose or reason for these writings is unclear, but I theorize that it was done to mark which tribe killed which beast.

Evidence Piece Two:
The second piece of evidence is that there have been sightings of these tribespeoples along the Druid Grove’s path. For a few years now, there have been multiple sightings of these primitive tribespeoples, and while I currently do not know where they reside or where they went, these primitive people may hold the key to what happened in the past on this continent. I would personally advise people to be careful and not resort to violence if they spot these tribespeoples, as it is important to try and communicate peacefully with them first.

Evidence Piece Three:
The third and final piece of evidence that supports our theory is the name that was given to this continent by the peoples long before us. Before we arrived in Almaris, the continent was once known as “The Lands of Titans”.This may seem like a small piece of evidence, it should be noted that this means these people lived in the same time period as these titans or have heard stories passed down by people who have, as they most certainly would have called the lands by a different name if they had only seen the bones.

A Note from the Author
Hello! I am Anthony Alexios Basrid and I’d like to thank Dilvyn Deveral for coming to me with this theory as well as with information about other natural oddities in our world. If you would like to add to, debate, or talk about this theory or others, please do not hesitate to contact me!

Somewhere within Augustine Palace, Beryl Jasper Carrington would read the theoretical paper, a small smile forming across his face, simply uttering Hm.” as he read.

"Ah!" Says Dilvyn D. Deveral, reading over the report.  "What a marvelous report!  Someday we'll get all of Almaris' mysteries figured out, but until then, theories such as these are the way forward."
