To the people of Hyspia

Hyspia has been through many trials and tribulations, and throughout it all we have endured our faith in GOD, and our faith in each other. Recently Hyspia has fallen again on times that have not been as lucky as before. Still recovering from the death of the beloved leader and man of virtue Cardinal Francisco. A man of which I considered one of my teacher, my father, and my closest friend. Of which now I sit in his office, now taking the reigns sooner than expected. There has been much animosity and strained relations with the apostates of Norland, and the fake king of Hyspia. Such tensions resulted in the murder of the man of cloth Francisco, and the subsequent and swift execution of the Antonio, of which the leadership of Haense has my respect and thanks. Though there maybe the desire to celebrate the end of Antonio's reign we must keep in mind the immense of amount of loss of which has engulfed both Red and White Hyspians. Sustaining more losses such as this, and continuing hostilities such as this has caused nothing but pain and hardship to fall upon the Hyspian people.

We as a people cannot continue on this path of pain and war, it has nearly consumed and destroyed all of us. Francisco was a man who was forgiving, kind, and fair. A man that forgave people, even at his death. Such faith and determination from Francisco cannot, and shall not go in vain. In the spirit of Francisco I call upon all Hyspians regardless of faith, to come together in mutual understanding. And start mending ties of which have been severed for too long. And I request that I meet with the current head of Red Hyspia so that we can help ease tensions and mend bridges. So that one day, some day, Hyspia maybe reunited under the light and love of GOD.

Signed,

Hernando Altamirano, Bishop Cordoba
