Prawo Zero - Your Guide to Understanding Rozanian Law


 

Rozania is home to many, and this requires the law to be taken into account for seeds of peace and prosperity to plant themselves into the land. However, at first glance, anyone who desires to become informed within the Rozanian Law must be equipped with the knowledge necessary to read it, less they desire it to be mere nonsense. To understand Rozania’s law, the following formatting and terms will be utilized in the pages to come:

 

Chapter, Section, Article - The Chapter encompasses all statute laws and Sections for one jurisdiction of law, while the Section is a more finite way to locate an Article of the law. Articles, as one may expect, are the common laws themselves, found under a Section.

 

Civil Servant - Terminology for someone who has dedicated themselves to Rozania, be it through the militia or a political position. 

 

Rząd - A term used for those who are in direct governmental positions with power. Leads on behalf of the King.

 

Decree - A form of law that is instituted or only effective from a certain period of time.

 

Minor Punishment - Beatings, fines, warnings.

 

Mediocre Punishment - Removal of appendage(s), most often not by choice.

 

Major Punishment - Hanging.

 

The Wrath of the Righteous Flame - To mark someone who shall be cast out of Rozania. Branding someone with The Wrath of the Righteous Flame will be done with the wrongdoer able to feel the heat of the metal.



 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Prawo Jeden - For The Public’s Well-Being


 

1.0.0 - Disturbing the peace and warmth of Rozania and its citizens.

 

     1.1.0 - Disruption of Peace

 

          1.1.1 - The wrongdoer will be given a verbal warning by a civil Servant. If it is ignored, the minor punishment shall be given.

 

     1.2.0 - Damage to Public Property 

 

          1.2.1 - Causing harm to property will result in minor punishment.

 

          1.2.2 - Failure to repay the fine will result in the removal of an appendage of the criminal’s choice.

 

          1.2.3 - If damage done to public property is exceedingly large, a mediocre or major punishment will be issued, waging on the damage done.

 

     1.3.0 - Damage to Private/Government Property

 

          1.3.1 - Defacing Private or Government Property will result in mediocre punishment.

 

     1.4.0 - Slaughter of Cattle

 

          1.4.1 - The hand that dealt the final blow shall be removed.

 

     1.5.0 - Theft

 

          1.5.1 - If the value of goods is under fifty mina, a fine will be imposed onto the thief. If the price exceeds fifty mina, a hand will be taken from the criminal                            without debate.

 

          1.5.2 - Failure to repay the price of stolen goods under fifty mina will result in the removal of an appendage of the criminal’s choice. 



 

Prawo Drugie - Violence and Vigilantes


 

2.0.0 - Criminal acts of violence towards Rozania and its peoples.

 

     2.1.0 - Dueling and Brawls

 

          2.1.1 - All forms of duels and brawls are wrongdoings, with mediocre punishment given to whoever strikes first.

 

          2.1.2 - Practice duels or duels of which carry stakes must have both participants agree to such, along with permission from a Rząd so that they may input                         their better judgement into the matter.

 

          2.1.3 - If an unofficial duel ends in slaughter, the victor will become the loser, in which they will suffer major punishment.

 

     2.2.0 - Assault

 

          2.2.1 - Creating bloodshed shall result in mediocre punishment, with the assaulter’s hand to be removed in the process. This is to ensure                                                             that the blackened plague shall not spread to the remainder of the host’s body.

 

          2.2.2 - Assault, attempted or otherwise, against a civil servant will result in major punishment.

 

     2.3.0 - Manslaughter

 

          2.3.1 - Attempted manslaughter or otherwise will result in major punishment.

 

     2.4.0 - Robbery

 

          2.4.1 - Theft of which involves removing a person of their belongings will have the criminal be given major punishment, successful or otherwise.

 

     2.5.0 - Vigilantism

 

          2.5.1 - Any individual who is not a Civil Servant shall be persecuted for the equal punishment that they had attempted to handle on their own.

 

         2.5.2 - Citizens may advise others against a criminal act, but committing violence to prevent such criminals will classify them as vigilantes.






 

Prawo Trzecie - Descendants Rights


 

3.0.0 - The rights of Rozania and its citizens.

 

     3.1.0 - Non-Exemptions of the Law

 

          3.1.1 - Orcs shall be responsible for their crimes under bloodlust.

 

          3.1.2 - Creatures and otherwise will be responsible for their actions.

 

     3.2.0 - Children

 

          3.2.1 - Anyone under the age of fourteen shall be considered a child under the eyes of the law.

 

          3.2.2 - If a child commits a crime, they will be given lashings depending on the severity of the crime. However, major punishment will be given if                                             they commit an act of assault against any citizen of Rozania.

 

          3.2.3 - Along with the above, if deemed necessary, the criminal child will be subject to public service to remedy their actions.

 

          3.2.4 - Along with the above, if deemed necessary, the criminal childs’ parental guardians will be notified within a year that their child will be required to                             serve within the militia. While they shall not be on the frontlines, they shall be required to keep rations and other minor jobs that workers of the                               militia require.

 

          3.2.5 - If a child continues to become disobedient while working under civil Servants, mediocre or major punishments will be given, depending on                                        the severity.

 

          3.3.0 - Avoidance of Conscription

 

          3.3.1 - At the time of the Rozania Law coming into effect, all Descendant men between the ages of fourteen to fifty will be conscripted into the militia      v                          during times of conflict.

 

          3.3.2 - Any citizen who is of age for conscription must apply for the militia, lest they are currently holding an occupation or are ill-equipped physically for                          such labor. If one cannot work safely within the militia, contacting a Civil Servant such as a Rząd and obtaining a document of passage                                                  is mandatory.

 

          3.3.3 - Failure or avoiding such will result in a fine, along with conscription.

 

 

 



 

Prawo Czwarte - Civil Servants


 

4.0.0 - Civil Servants’ duties to Rozania.

 

     4.1.0 - Righteousness to the People

 

          4.1.1 - At all times, Civil Servants must work not for themselves, but for the good of the people.

 

          4.1.2 - If a Civil Servant is deemed to be out of line and corrupt with power, they shall suffer The Wrath of the Righteous Flame.

 

     4.2.0 - Desertion of the Civil Servants’ Position

 

          4.2.1 - If a Civil Servant is found to have abandoned Rozania, major punishment shall be dealt upon locating and capturing the former Civil Servant.

 

     4.3.0 - Failure to Respect their Superiors

 

          4.3.1 - If a Civil Servant fails to obey orders, they will be promptly removed from power, along with their dominant hand.
