In-Character:

-Character Name:

Eternis Ormison

-What is your Race?:

Elf.

-Biography:

Eternis was born in Laurelin, capital city of the elves. His parents were but humble shopkeepers, earning a living through his mother, Galadrin's baking and through his father, Oromis's carpentry. On Eternis' thirteenth birthday, there was an Undead raid on the Sister City, so Oromis grabbed his wooden sword, put on his leather armour, and ran off to help. A war party of orcs then arrived. They massacred the group sent to the city. Mad with grief, Galadrin Took her bow in hand and went off to fight the orcs. Eternis never saw her again. He vowed a hatred against all orcs from then on. He tried his hand at swordsmanship, but was only mediocre. He was a good bowman, but was nothing to the great archers of the kingdom. So he scouted out orc camps, selling all information he saw on the orcs to the dwarves. A month after he started this, he came across a small orcish village. He saw a war party leave and was about to run to the dwarves when he saw them. Starving women and children, farming what little they cound out of their paltry crops. He realised that the orcs were only doing what they could, what they knew to survive. When he thought on his rage, that sickened him. He started bringing food parcels to the village, not showing his face, for he could not bear the shame of being called a hero when he had guided the dwarves to massacre other orc villages. Soon, with hidden aid of Eternis, the orcish village thrived. The orcs no longer raided and instead farmed and built.

On his twenty-third birthday, Eternis left the village to it's own devices and began a new project. To join the army and to hurt those who would hurt others simply for their own gain, but to protect those who had no other way of getting the resources they needed. To join together the separate races into a thriving whole, so that the undead could be vanquished quickly and efficiently, and to bring prosperity and happiness to all. Eternis, even these four years later, still cares for the orcs and will protect them fiercely in any debate, argument, or even inappropriate joke.

-Character Age:

27 (or whatever is correct for a young-adult elf)

-Character Appearance:

Blond with green highlight, wears loose-filling green clothing w/green hat.

-Character Personality:

Nice, friendly, open, but serious when necessary. Is open to peace, but will fight when threatened or to protect those that need help. Eternis is still ashamed of his past, and will react to any jokes or insults to orcs harshly, protecting their honour with his own. Eternis will take orders, but he won't accept an order to kill innocents. He'd rather die than harm those in need of help.

-Your ambitions:

To create an inter-species village somewhere so that others can see this example and stop fighting one another.

-Can your character read or write?:

Yes, both.

-Can your character mine?:

Yes, but badly

-Can your character build?:

Yes, but needs others for projects larger than a simple hut.

-Can you wield a sword?:

Not well, but if necessary I can hold my own

-Enjoy Farming?:

I don't particularly enjoy farming. I mean, seeding is fine, but I prefer to wander around than to stick in one particular spot.

-Does your character have any special skills?:

I can survive well, I can hold my own in a debate, and I'm a good archer.
