As the sun began to rise over the waters of the Fakhr Oasis, the sound of stomping hooves echoed throughout the homes and marketplace. Donkeys were being corralled and lined up for a grand event throughout the newly constructed warehouse district. As an homage to Thamer al-Hadad, a man who had a great love for donkeys, his wife (Zahra bint Hakim al-Hattan) organized The Grand Oasis Donkey Race. The race was to be held at the peak of Malin’s Welcome. Rumors circulated throughout the tribe of a 100 mina prize from the Na’ib al-Emir himself!

OOC: The race will take place on Thursday, September 16th, at 6 PM EST. This is a BYOD event (Bring Your Own Donkey).
