Prosperous times for Waystone, these are. The Urguanian roadside corporation finds itself growing more and more by the day.

New members, new structures, drinks-a-plenty. Life does thrive.

 

Sprouting up from the hilltop is now the fine building site of a new apartment complex;

One truly suited to dampen the rising demand for accomodations within Waystone’s age-old walls.

Indeed it blossoms above.

 

But, below. Something withers.

Way past the minerals. Deep within the rocks. Beasts of old called caves their nest.

Now, atop it, the incessant drilling and hammering by those massive machinations stir the hillside’s core. And something crawled out.

 

All around and over the dwarven nation’s major notice boards, one would find a poster- A call to action for those who might offer aid.

HELP NEEDED - ARACHNID INFESTATION

 

The Waydown Mine in Waystone has been taken over by strange spider-like creatures. Eye witnesses report massive size, unnatural for regular spiders. Men and women have gone in, to never return.

 

We require the services of competent individuals capable of slashing their way through and clearing out the space. You are required to slay any and all arachnids within, as well as their offspring. Do not, however, burn, collapse or overall damage the mines themselves.

 

A sum of mina will be given out for each spider head brought back. Additionally, any loot or salvage found within the now-abandoned excavation are yours to keep.
