To the denizens of this Empire,

As my pen touches this paper, I think of my time growing up within our nation. When I was young, my great uncle- the late John VIII- taught me an important lesson about duty. He was a wise old man, so when he placed his hand on my shoulder and spoke- I was drawn to listen.

He told me that duty to this nation comes in all forms but that every man, woman and child within our state played an important part. The world's a stage I couldn’t help but think. All of us were merely actors playing a role we were assigned.

Our role as citizens of the Empire is to keep our hope and chins high whilst we march forward toward victory.  Then as we take our steps- hand in hand, kin to kin- into this battle we must put on our show and memorize our lines.

The show must go on.

Let us not look back and wonder what we could have done but what we will do to succeed.

AVE ORENIA

SIGNED

HIH, Princess Amelia Margaret of Renzfeld

"Ea byk zwe zanyotsker zweer ea ter petravezker," Sigismund mumbled quietly to himself as he and the Knight's Table began the long journey back to Haense. "I would have perished had I not persisted."

He was glad the Orenian spirit would endure - as the Haeseni had in wars past - and that the war would soon be behind them.
