The St. Lothar Concord

Following the Rourke-Komnenos Summit of 1856, both Houses came together to further establish prosperity between their respective houses. The County of Halstaig & the Barony of St. Lothar, henceforth known as “The Signatories' hereby agree to the following terms. 

 

I. The Signatories pledge to offer defensive aid in the event that either of their holdings are raided by enemies of the Empire.

 

II. The Signatories agree to support each other in political settings and to aid each other on the Adriatic Council.

 

III. The Signatories agree to assist each other economically and materialistically, including supporting each other with the construction of the Keep of Saint Lothar and Keep of Erin Hall. 

 

IV. In events where the Signatories' agendas conflict, both parties agree to meet diplomatically to solve their issues prior to taking further action.

 

V. The Signatories acknowledge their legal obligations to their liege and in the event that this contract contradicts the Crown’s laws, this contract will be considered null.

 

VI. This agreement will expire in twenty years. Upon that time coming to pass, the Signatories may meet to renew or alter this agreement if seen fit.

Arriving by Imperial Courier to the County of Halstaig and the Barony of Saint Lothar a letter would be dispatched bearing Imperial seals.

It has come to the attention of the crown that you have signed into a pact titled the 'St. Lothar Concord' such news came with surprise to the ears of myself and Their Imperial Majesties, as neither were contacted prior to the publication of such a missive. Whilst the crown encourages cooperation between Imperial subjects and peers, the publication of this missive gives the illusion that peers are permitted to do such. 

 

As such the crown has directed me to contact you to ensure the public notice is removed from circulation. Support of Imperial houses is encouraged, simply not in this manner as peers of the Empire are not permitted to sign concords, treaties or agreements in this manner.
