The Myrinian Man sat lonely and cold, the breeze sweeping over his bones. The once great roads of the City of Marble stood empty with naught but her ghosts. He wandered and pondered the town's old past, back to the days of Balthazar the Second. The days when he, among many, rose their blades proudly in service of their Marquis. As he stood before the marble statues and their cold faces, the Myrinian Man sighed and proclaimed to himself:

"Balthazar II, the man who gave me purpose, the man who showed me there was more than farms and cows, I weep for your city." the Myrinian Man inhaled deep, then exhaled once more. As much as he hoped, dreamed, prayed, Myrine was naught but a ghost town; and a ghost town it would stay.

"Unless..." the Myrinian Man thought, then rushing to his home. A quill and parchment in hand, the Myrinian Man immediately set out to work. Though not raised a proficient writer, he knew the message must be delivered nonetheless if Myrine was to be rebuilt to its former glory. With haste, the Myrinian Man had finished his writings and sent it out forthwith.

A letter to Balthazar Mareno III and all remaining Myrinians

To His Lordship Balthazar III and all remaining Myrinians scattered across Almaris;

        My friends, countrymen, and former comrades; For years since the death of our beloved Balthazar II, the city of Myrine has been abandoned and left to the elements. To see our home in such a way breaks my heart upon my every visit to the settlement, and I am certain I am not alone in this sentiment. Therefore, I urge all those who call themselves Myrinians to return home, to the land that defeated the Orcs of Krugmar, the land that once had a force unrivalled by the other Lords of Savoy. Specifically, I urge His Lordship, Balthazar III, to return to Savoy so he may lead his people in an era of reconstruction. My Lord, if you read this letter, Myrine is not yet lost. The City still stands, and I am certain that just as before, many will follow you and your family should you seek to rebuild our home once again. The House of Mareno is a powerful family that will attract many to your cause, and so I urge you, return to Savoy and rebuild Myrine.

A lass from the now-removed Sutica stood near the entrance, giving it a thorough lookover. "Nice place. It will be interesting to see it repopulate." After remarking the fact to herself, she made her way home.
