IMPERIAL FLAG OFFICER COMMISION

General Erik Var Ruthern has spent the past decades engaged in loyal service within the Imperial State Army, leading it to newer and greater heights as well as success in the ongoing conflict with the Non-Human Coalition. Throughout his tenure of long service the crown has come to rely greatly upon the service of the Duke of Reutov, from his humble beginnings as a young officer, to his time as General. 

 

The passing of General Erik Var Ruthern will be felt within the hearts of all Imperials for many years to come. Nevertheless, in this time of war we have no room for rest and we must endeavor to push onwards, it is with great confidence, and firm conviction that we place our faith within the Right Honourable, The Count of Susa, Anastasios Basrid, whos service thus far in the war and the Imperial State Army has more than prepared him for the task.

Is hereby appointed to the rank of General of the Imperial State Army

 

We place within you a special trust and confidence that you will carry out your duty to the best of your abilities, with the highest respect for both your superiors and subordinates, to lead with courage and bravery and be example to all who would follow you, to carry out the orders of Their Imperial Majesties, their heirs and successors without falter or question, and keep those soldiers and officers beneath you in good order and discipline. We confide in you that you will serve until lawfully relieved or retired from your duties, and until such time that you will resist Their Imperial Majesties Enemies, and cause Their Imperial Majesties peace to be maintained in the realm. It is with you that we place this most noble commission.
