Smmer 2441 Share Posted March 19, 2022 A chorus of metal clashing, the voices of fear, As a whirlwind roars from cannons blow. Amidst the loud, where Discord's gorgon-featured form, marchest on with hideous stride. Accords of madness, sounds of unbridled anguish, Hark! Hear death’s choir singing his song of torment. A calling card he leaves when there are souls he must collect. Is it music to thy ear? In blood, in horror, screams, and cries. The siege, the open fight, When round thee red destruction flies, Dost thou, grim Fiend delight? For when shall Peace, descending onto us, spare The many hapless sons of man, In pursuit to conquer the boiling rage of War. Layby thy shield and sword, a polished casque in which they rest. Let thy sable steeds have rest: At length, the work of slaughter close, And giveth Urguan’s sons' repose. An Ode written by, Heidi de Vilain Spoiler I took inspiration and some parts from Ode 1 and Ode 2 I shall learn to write like this someday in full. (Also ty Shadowy for helping me perfect it)
