It is declared that the Barony of Artois will uphold its tradition of service to the crown as it has done for many centuries; we pledge loyalty, and the duty to take up arms against any foes who dare to contest the crown or harm it. The House of Halcourt will continue to do so for the next century, and the one after, and so on till the end of times. Additionally, the heir to Artois, Arnaud Godwin, will ward under his Majesty Frederick I to ensure the House may learn from his austere wisdom, and that we remain in good relation with the Crown for perpetuity.
