Drako Darkwood, Baron and Patriarch of Darkwood, is feeling a bit reminiscent of his siblings which he used to laugh and play with in his youth, but sadly after the age of 6, both of them went off on their own ways, not being seen until recently when the family migrated to The Kingdom of Haense.

Age: 15

Description: A blond teen who would be around the size of 5’8. They would wear typical Haenseti commoner clothing, with furs and thick clothing covering their body, as well as speak with the accent and language of New Marian should they please. They would be rather independent, however would respect the hierarchy of society. A fairly outgoing and relaxed person they would frequently join others on hunts.

Family:

Spoiler

The Darkwoods first arrived within the empire during its time in Arcas when it fought against enemies, originating from old Hanseti. Joining during the end of the war Velhrun Darkwood(referred to in papers as William Darkwood after being granted the peerage), joined the Imperial State Army as a recruit.  After finishing the combat academy he joined the 3rd and ascended through their ranks, becoming the captain of the 3rd, later climbing further to the rank of Major, Lieutenant Colonel and finally becoming General in Almaris.

During his time in service the Darkwood house had been granted a non-hereditary peerage in the year of 1808, later to become hereditary after the 10th Nordling war. Few years after the war Velhrun Darkwood retired from the Imperial State Army, he was granted the position of magistrate in Dobrov but failed to achieve anything of note there, his years seemingly clouding his mind.

The title then was taken by George Darkwood who previously served as the Deputy solicitor general and a Supreme court judge, he sadly passed away after a few years of managing the title. Due to George Darkwood having no heirs the title went to his brothers line, where the title went to Quinn Darkwood, mainly due to other family members being busy with other matters. With time in part due to the location of the estate and their occupations the house follows a mix of Grenzi and other local cultures and norms.

[Taken from the Darkwood Codex of 1852]

Quinn Darkwood would perform extremely well within the military, leading the 2nd brigade by example, after years of service he would find himself a Major in the ISA. However the family was being split up as a small group would find their way to Haense. Soon, mere months before the Brothers war, he would be brutally murdered by home invaders, leaving Drako Darkwood as the patriarch.

Drako would set about in an almost rushed manner to try fix any issues with the family, taking on various jobs in order to make the family succeed, only for The Brothers War to begin. Drako decided the family would fight for Peter IV. Upon his declaration, his cousin Orelia would declare that she would fight for Fredrick I, further splitting the family.

After the loss of the war, Drako would lead the family, asides Orelia to Haense where he would purchase a new manor and begin to rebuild their life, working hard to improve their standing in Haense. He would also purchase a house in Balian, retaining his Peerage there and sticking with his people, becoming somewhat of dual-nationalist. Viktor, his brother would lead the army of Balian, where the family would maintain their noble image and influence there, as well as work to gain a standing in haense.

Aspirations: Character aspirations are down to the player, can be discussed openly. The family aspirations are fairly simple, to achieve a positive standing in Haense, potentially high status and to retain and improve the sociability in Balian. Doing this is to be achieved through working hard in both nations, ideally via governmental roles in the former, and helping out the community of the latter.

Backstory and personality are up for discussion really, the only concrete aspects are the look and the locations in their history.
