annanicole__ 2802 Share Posted June 23, 2022 My initial love A poem for Astercalia I witnessed my parents' Ardent love as a child. And I believed I understood What true love was. They had a shared love. Wish I had had the same result But my, how I was mistaken. Only affection my parents expressed True lovers might hold it. When I was a child, my father would constantly make joy Of my mother's cooking or her thinning, graying hair. When she heard his jokes, my mother Would always get so upset. But now I realize it was out of love. I used to read books about love and how enchanted it was. It seemed magical for a very long time. But perhaps I haven't yet met my soulmate. Perhaps I haven't yet found the person who will be my initial love. Written by; Lady Katerina Angelika de Sarkozic
