My name is Garn Anvilslayer. I am a former acolyte of the ascended. I am here to announce the formation of group of like minded ascended who wish to rebel against the corruption of the sages.

Our organization is known as the Enlightened. We no longer bear the titles of acolytes.We no longer follow the orders of the sages.

I had intended to do this fight alone but many of my brethren have decided to follow me.We will no longer be passive in the battle against evil.

We are the new ascended and are not tied down by the antiquated rules put forth by the sages.

Instead of thirsting for more power we will use the power we have to cleanse aegis of all evils not just the undead.No more hiding behind magical walls while aegis is forced to fight for survival.

(( Than you shall lose your powers for going against lore. Many people follow Aeriel its the people that are seen to have the blood by the Sages and stay under the Sages that keep their power. Going against the Sages is desertion. ))

@bhorner Lore is history and guideline for people to form around and grow. Lore grows and can have changes to expand and reach out for new stories and new history. Ascended are just being raised to a status that Aeriel seeks out. There is nothing in the lore that states that a Sages word is absolute, nor that a group of ascended may rise from the ashes to be stronger and more forth in the world.

I think they have every right to follow through with this, new sages / acolytes were appointed without trials, okonkwo shouldve been the only sage and he shouldn't of been able to appoint acolytes / sages.
