Those of the Northern lands of Hanseti-Ruska encountered a strange occurrence several Saint’s Eves ago that the Crown deems to be of utmost importance to the well-being of the Haeseni people. For reasons unknown to our kingdom, sinister cretin and crazed creatures of Iblees have increasingly begun to roam these lands. Thus, the Crown issues a public warning to all of those voyaging about city walls due to a rapid increase in sightings of creatures known as Inferi Sprites.

INFERI SPRITES

“Devils” or “Minor Iblees’ Spawn”

 

 

Though they appear almost grotesque to a playful, mischievous nature that is innocent, they are not to be regarded as friendly, and should never be approached without proper skin-coverings. They bear minor feats of Iblees’ followers, including the ability to summon small puffs of unique flame. Due to the increased sightings, it is suggested that some may opt to wear veils or shawls around their shoulders to shield from oncoming flames. This flame is special, from the deepest depths of the realm’s crust. It does not catch like normal, and only burns exposed flesh. It is to be noted that the pain is beyond excruciating if it makes contact. 

 

If encountered, the victim is to either flee the devil’s assails to the best of their ability or if possible in their encounter; they might capture the sprite and bring it to the kingdom for questioning. It should be noted that killing them after they have completed damage only fulfills their conquest - as they are born anew quick after their initial summon, and can replenish this process as many times as necessary. 

 

In the name of the kingdom and the Crown, it is important to uproot this issue before it causes real damage to our subjects. All queries related to the matter may be directed to Lord Vladrik Kortrevich II, as his expertise is recognized on the matter of these creatures.

 

May GODANI be with the brave travelers, and those within the kingdom. We must expel this evil together.
