With the sudden exodus of the leadership of Yemekar’s Workforce, many dwedmar whose livelihoods depend on the workforce have been left without a means of providing for themselves or their families, leaving many jobless. This also significantly affects the culture, and state of mental and physical wellbeing of dwarves. In order to help the dwedmar of Urguan this bill has been penned.

 

Article I - Leadership

New leadership shall be immediately chosen for every position within the Workers Guild, including Yemekar’s Pick, by the senate. They may use the list of names provided below as suggestions.

 

Article II - Reimbursement

For the period until stable activity is achieved in the Workforce, all current workers will be supplemented 1 extra minek in addition to their regular payments, in order to help combat the prior loss of wages.

 

Article III Rebuilding

The Workforce guild area, along with the forging areas shall be reconstructed to accommodate high levels of industry and production. This reconstruction will be lead by the Omithiel Company, headed by Garedyn The Green.

 

Article IV.A - General Reorganisation

1: The workers guild shall be divided into three branches:

a. The Mountain Branch - Miners, Masons, Jewelers  (Prospecters Guild, Omithiel Company)

b. The Metal Branch - Smiths, Smelters (White Anvil)

c. The Mystic Branch - Alchemists, Enchanters (Enchantery)

 

2: The guilds will be allowed to select the leaders as per the following:

a. A Guild Lords shall be appointed by Yemekar’s pick with approval from other guild lords and overseers. In times of emergency approval is not required.

b. Each Branch will have an Overseer, elected through vote by the Guild Lords of that Branch.

c. Yemekar’s Pick will be elected through a combined council of Overseers and Guild Lords.

 

Disclaimer: The names proposed below can be change or removed per the senate’s will.

 

Article IV.B - Guild Reorganisation

1. The following rebranding of the Guilds are recommended, to promote a fresh vision going forward, while being more faithful to the Brathmordakin.

a. The White Anvil shall be  renamed to Yemekar’s Smiths:

b. The Prostectors Guild shall be renamed to Grimduguan’s Delvers

c. The Omithiel Company shall be renamed to Yemekar’s Masons

d. The Golden Enchantery shall be renamed to Orgadhad’s Enchanters.

e. Any other unmentioned guild is recommended to follow a similar naming scheme.

 

2. A new guild shall be created to promote the neglected art of gem cutting and jewellery smithing. It will be named Belka’s Jewellers and be part of the Mountain Branch.

 

3. A new guild shall be created to promote the industry of alchemy. It will be named Orgadhad’s Brewers and be part of the Mystic Branch.

 

4. Guild Lords retain the right to modify the command structure or internal organisation of their guilds, but only with the approval of their guildmates.

 

5. Members of a guild shall have the right to elect a new guild lord at any time.

 

Article V - Guild Creation or Dissolution

1. Should a need arise to create a need guild, it will have to be approved by the guild workers, lords and overseers of the Branch that the new guild wishes to join.

 

2. Should a need arise to dissolve a guild, the same rules apply above, but the additional approval of a council of workers be needed.

 

Article VI - Branch Creation of Dissolution

1. Should a need arise to create a new branch, for if a new guild does not fit the styles of the current ones, then a vote is needed by all the guild members of the Workers Guild to approve it or not.

 

2. Should a need arise to dissolve a Branch, the same rules apply above, but the 3 main branches, Mountain, Metal and Mystic, can never be dissolved.

 

Article VII - Council

1. The Workforce shall form its own council, composed of the Guilds Lords and Overseers, with Yemekar’s Pick heading the council.

 

2. The council will be open to attend for all the members of the workers of the workers guild.

 

3. The overseers will vote on the council, representing the interests of their branch.

 

4. Yemakar’s Pick will organise the council, but will not be allowed to vote.

 

Article VIII - Senate

Yemekar’s Pick will be allowed a place in the senate as an expert council. They may not vote, but they are allowed to give opinion with regards to areas of their expertise.
