Long awaited by the people of Aaun, the day has finally come for their Sovereign to finally be coronated as King of Aaun. In line with royal tradition this momentous event will take place in the Basilica of Saint Alexander of Furnestock, however it will all begin at the Petra river with a baptism followed by a procession into the city where His Majesty will be officially crowned as King of Aaun.

OFFICIAL TIMETABLE

Baptism in the River Petra

Commencing the ceremony, His Majesty will be re-baptized in the Petra River. The flowing nature of the river will represent the continuous, unbroken, line of succession. Following the baptism the party will proceed to the Basilica of Saint Alexander of Furnestock.

The Coronation of the King

Once the party has arrived at the Basilica the ceremony will take place, crowning Charles I as King of Aaun in a traditional manner.

Johanian Festival

Following the grandeur ceremony to crown King Charles the chapel will adjourn to the square where the subjects of Aaun may rejoice in honour of their new king. There will be drinks, feast, and entertainment provided.

SIGNED,

HER EXCELLENCY, Sophie of Provins

Dowager of Susa, Chamberlain of the Royal Court of Aaun

The woman of Provinois origins stood before the altar of GOD in the Basilica of Saint Alexander of Furnestock in the latterly restored seat of Aaun. She was kneeling on the cold ground with hands clasped. "And here, the Alstion Restoration concludes. Yet, we must maintain this stability, for it is heavier to wear the Crown than bid for it." The Pruvia then rose, as she stood her husband, Charles I, embraced her, for their juvenile dream was accomplished.
