Sedanian Peerage Edict

By the Grace of God, Robert II, Prince of Sedan does decree…

 

I. All peerages and titles within the Principality of Sedan granted before the year 1912 are hereby placed in abeyance.

II. Former landowners and peers affected are to report to Joannesport and renew their vows of loyalty and fealty to the Prince of Sedan.

III. In accordance with the Robertian Codex, the peerage of Sedan shall consist of the following titles and ranks,

• Counties, to be administered by a Count or Countess.
• Viscounties, to be administered by a Viscount or Viscountess.
• Baronies or Lordships of the Chapeau, to be administered by a Baron (Lord) or Baroness (Lady).
• Seigneuries or Lordships of the Manor, to be administered by a Seigneur (Lord) or Seigneuress (Lady).
• Baronetcies or Landed Gentry, to be administered by a Baronet (Knight) or a Baronetess (Dame).
