It is with a heavy heart that we issue this statement regarding the health of our Margravine Philippa Ilena von Reuss. Her path has been marred by the ebb and flow of various ailments since the blessed arrival of her third, and likely final, offspring. At this point it has become too great an issue, and she can no longer govern the Margraviate as it should be.

With all things considered, the governance of Velenic affairs shall fall on the shoulders of the Margrave consort, and upon his ascension into adult life, the Count of Revedin. Should the Margravine return from poor health the regency shall be put to an end but until then Leufroy Alexandre of Lewes shall be Regent of Velen.

SIGNED,

The Most Honourable, Philippa Ilena von Reuss, Margravine of Velen, Countess of Cantal, Baroness of Mons Velena, Defender of the Velenic Peoples

The Most Honourable, Leufroy Alexandre of Lewes, Margrave consort of Velen,

Lord Regent of Velen

The Right Honourable, Georg Stefan von Reuss, Count of Revedin,

Heir to the Aschenwald
