The Saint’s Year comes to a close, the air begins to settle into an autumnal chill. House Seregon wishes to extend a hand in offering to our Exilic Kingdom of Númendil and her fair allies to join them in the Lordship of Caladras to celebrate the fruits of the year. The Hallow’s Eve approaches, marking a time for festivity and respite from the hardships that brought us to the realm of Aevos.

The pastures of Caladras will play host to these festivities, while the “monsters'' run amok with candy and wine, rather than claws and teeth. There will be games, treats, and merriment enough for all. The Númenedain and her fair allies are likewise invited to don costumes and masks, though it is not required to participate.

A brief list of events to occur through the evening…

Assorted Merchant Booths

Festive Games

[Apple Bobbing, Strongman, other games to be added]

The Pumpkin Carving Contest

“Witch’s Brew” Drinking Contest

The Costume Contest

[Group and Single]

As a gentle reminder, The Scroll of Royal Law and the Laws of the Númenedain do still apply throughout the Lordship of Caladras and all of the Kingdom’s holdings. Such is, during this event you may be asked to temporarily unmask. While genuine weapons are not prohibited, it is asked that they not be drawn unless necessary.

Games & Game Rules

Strong Man

Three Benchmarks:

Quarter, Half, Full

Rules & How To Play

  • Do not use magic or other abilities to add bonuses to your rolls.
  • Wait your turn! This is a one person game.
  • Make sure you emote properly!
  • If you want your attempt  to count, make sure a festival hand is present.

To start, a player should take at least one emote to wind up their strike before rolling. A festival hand will make a resolution emote based on your roll. If you exceed the DC of one hit but not the other, it will remain in that category.  (I.E. Rolling 14 still means you hit the Quarter Benchmark, or 16/17 is still the Half Benchmark.)

A player is considered to have won under any of the following conditions…

  • They hit the Quarter Benchmark (Standard Prize)
  • They hit the Half Benchmark (Medium Tier)
  • They hit the Full Benchmark (High Tier)

Apple Bobbing

Four Types of Apple:

  • Make sure you emote properly!
  • If you want your attempt  to count, make sure a festival hand is present.

To start, a player should take at least one emote preparing to dunk their head into the water before rolling. A festival hand will make a resolution emote based on your roll. The DC is determined by the commonality of the color of the apple. Should you exceed the DC of one apple, but not meet the next DC, the player will remain on the same tier. (I.E. Rolling an 11 is still a Red Apple, but a 16 is still a Green Apple)

A player is considered to have won under any of the following conditions…

  • They pull a Red Apple (Standard Prize)
  • They pull a Pink Apple (Medium Tier)
  • They pull a Green Apple (Medium Tier)
  • They pull a “Golden” Apple (High Tier)

Archery

Three Rings:

  • Make sure you emote properly!
  • Make sure you don’t stand on the counter, stand at the counter.
  • If you want your shots to count, make sure a festival hand is present.

To start, a player should follow standard CRP Rules (3 Emotes) for drawing a bow before they roll. A festival hand will make a resolution emote based on your roll. The player is able to shoot three arrows. The DC is determined by the size of the rings on the target, with each ring growing smaller. If you exceed on DC but don’t meet the next tier, you will be considered to have “hit” the DC you exceeded.

A player is considered to have won under any of the following conditions…

  • They manage to land at least two arrows on the outer ring. (Standard Prize)
  • They manage to land all three arrows on any ring. (Standard Prize)
