TO OUR RESTORED REALM,

 

WITH THE POWER BESTOWED to the office of the Chancellery, and after an extensive survey of the incumbent political machine and instrument of state, the current Aaunic system of governance is hereby declared DYSFUNCTIONAL and OBSOLETE. 

 

Thusly, the Sarkozic-Reuss Chancellery has drafted a series of overhauling reforms, dubbed the SARKOZIC VOLLEYS, aimed at every aspect of Aaunic administration, civilian governance, and military organization. 

 

In the presence of GOD, Almighty and Most High, The First Volley undertakes reforms for high-ranking government positions, extirpating and merging redundant offices, and mitigating the bloated bureaucracy of the Aaunic state.

 

The First Volley of Reforms go as follows;

 

1. The Privy Chamber, and all subordinate offices, are hereby ABOLISHED;

   1.  The position of Principal Secretary is hereby an ex officio responsibility of the Lady Chamberlain,

   2. The Royal Household’s administration is hereby an ex officio responsibility of the Royal Consort,

2. The Royal Council shall HENCEFORTH BE KNOWN as The Gregorian Cabinet;

   1. The Captain of the City Watch shall henceforth be known as the Lord Commander,

      1. The City Watch shall be considered a transitory organization, pending future reforms,

   2.  The Lord Seneschal’s position shall remain unchanged, pending future reforms,

   3. The High Commissioner shall henceforth be known as the Lord Commissioner,

      1. The Lord Commissioner’s office shall handle matters of foreign policy and bilateral cooperation, pending future reforms,

   4.  The Lord Constable’s office is hereby established,

      1. The Lord Constable’s office shall handle matters of the interior, construction projects and internal security, pending future reforms and an official communiqué further detailing the duties of this office,

      2. The positions of Director of Records and Archives and Director of Housing and Development are hereby ex officio responsibilities of the Lord Constable.
