The Colours Of The Rainbow

Every year, during June, LGBT+ Pride Month, also referred to as Pride Month, is held and dedicated to celebrating and commemorating all things pride. Pride Month aims to bring awareness and celebration to the LGBT+ community worldwide.

 In accordance with Pride Month, you will have an entire month to create an art piece of your choosing fitting to your interpretation of this arts contests theme:

With a special challenge added in, your submitted piece must include all colours of the rainbow these being red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet.

NEW RULES

With the start of the new Battle of the Arts we will also be implementing a new system for categories. Due to popular demand from many members of the community who felt their art was not well represented, we are creating a more robust category and subcategory system, to hopefully allow artists of any variety to participate.

In this new system we will now have three main categories who’s prizes they will be competing for are Visual Art, Character Art, Written Art. Each of these main categories will have many subcategories that fall within them, the list below covers many but not all possible subcategories. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

This month’s Battle of the Arts will consist of Three main categories, and Many subcategories

 

VISUAL ART:

Drawing

Painting

Sculptures

Builds

Etc

 

CHARACTER ART:

Skins

Figura

Etc

 

WRITTEN ART:

Music

Creative Writing

Etc

 

VISUAL ART & CHARACTER ART

MUST be within LotC guidelines

Cannot include NSFW, Major Gore, or any explicit themes.

Cannot plagiarize someone else’s work in any capacity.

Any Minecraft skin entered that you are willing to donate to the skin archive will receive an automatic 200 mina bonus.

It must include all colours of the rainbow these being red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet.

It needs to be previously unseen artwork - As in new visual & character art.

The theme is ‘The Colours Of The Rainbow’; your creativity can flow in any direction.

Should follow the fantasy medieval theme of LotC, though it doesn’t have to revolve around any specific character.
