In a meeting called by Grand Marshal Narvi, the clans of Urguan and King’s council came to a drastic decision regarding Grand King Thurgrim Silverbraid’s overall absence in the Grand Kingdom.

A vote of confidence was held between all clans present to see if Thurgrim Silverbraid would be allowed to stay as Grand King.

Unanimous Decision - No Confidence.

We hereby thank Thurgrim Silverbraid for all he has done for the Grand Kingdom, and thank him for taking the hefty job of Grand King upon himself for the time he held the position.

After the vote of confidence, the meeting quickly dissolved into chaos as Grand Marshal Narvi struggled to uphold order in the meeting halls.

After the rest declared a vote for Lord Regent, the following results came out

After the Lord Regent was voted in, Sigrun ‘Undeadslayer’ Stonehammer swiftly started the nominations for Grand King.

Meanwhile, Thurgrim had, quite literally, been in the midst of penning a notice of voluntary abdication from the throne as most goals he'd held at the beginning of his kingship had been achieved, or were well underway.

He'd snort, and toss an eyeroll at the announcement. "Soh much fer their 'confidence'. Hafta go outta their way t'insult me with forceful abdication after ah'd already been preparing t'step down." 

He then quickly drew out a ream of paper, already penning out the dwarf he'd had in-mind for his own vote.
