Petitions are more of a suggestion to the king. Just don't have farms... Go to the wilds to farm if you must.

The reason for this rule is because it slows down the economy. It makes people that own a farm plot and a person that owns an in home farm equal. It reduces the amount of money the city makes, and in return slows down the progress of things. I use this money to pay the guards, knights, and rangers. I am sorry if some people are upset, but it must be done.

[[One of the reasons is to improve RP. Less self sufficency! Farms under homes is not just unrealistic but also brings down sales for Dawns Bakery or Golden Harvest. It is about growing the economy. People being self sufficent is exactly why they brought in the new skill system. I agree with this law and actually think the fine should be upgraded to 500 Minas.]]

((I kind of agree with Hawk on this one, but everybody should report it if they can, just not destroy the farms themselves. My city is not a part of Oren nor Al'Khazar, but it is very close and many have mistaken it for Al'Khazar and have come in and destroyed our farms.))

Well, a fine against UNDERGROUND farms is a brilliant idea, but you should still be able to grow small amounts say, by a window were the sunlight can get to it?

This is a rather sticky situation, with the 1.8 hunger here people will be clamouring for farm plots... So yeah, I have no idea what to do here ))
