THE STANCE OF THE GOLDEN COUNTY OF VES

 

My family has stood with the Kings of Aaun for nearly a century now, beginning first during the great war against the Anathema, Heinrik Sarkozic, through the Stassie Rebels and their Veletzer allies, and now in the midst of the Temeschi plotting against the very Royal House of Alstion itself. It is this treachery that concerns the House of Varoche most now, truly it baffles myself quite greatly at how the House of Temesch believes their actions are at all acceptable for any self-respecting canonist within our great and united nation.

 

For my House and county, the most egregious act of their schemes was their murder of my family, my father and brother by none other than Renilde herself. I cannot in good conscious permit their further crimes, it is paramount that the MARNAN BRIGADE is permitted to continue it’s activity and investigation in this matter and in that I support their cause as the Count of Ves and as a true Heartlander, but my oaths of loyalty to the most high crown of the Alstions trump even such.
