woke 1159 Share Posted July 22, 2024 Spoiler OUR SONGThis PK post is dedicated to my girlfriend (SHE IS VERY MUCH ALIVE) LOVER'S CALL An old knight succumbed to slumber, his nights filled with nightmares, in the middle of a world where light and shadow blended in tandem. For many Saint's days, these dark spectres gnawed at his sanity. But on this fateful night, a familiar figure appeared out of nothingness: a woman with her head and shoulders covered by a shawl, dressed in a dark robe. It was his one true love, the woman whose passing had cast an enduring shadow over his entire existence and who had been his lighthouse through innumerable winters. The truth was buried beneath layers of pretence and pride, even though Rurik had persuaded himself that he had moved on. The desire for her warmth and company had never really gone away. A gentle yet weighty voice called to him, "Come, my love." The decades old knight's poise broke with his hands outstretched, he ran towards her figure, tears streaming down his face like rivers of sorrow. But the closer he got, the more she appeared to pull away. Rurik walked so desperately that the floor gave way under him and fell into a chasm. A mixture of terror and liberation tore at his soul as he descended. His lover had come to lead him to his rest, memories and feelings swirling around him to reveal. In the dream world, the man who had endured suffering in silence found comfort. The elderly knight smiled as he went from this life to the next, contented. He had finally found his true love yet again in eternal sleep, their souls intertwined beyond the realm of mortal dreams. Spoiler To Volchok, I write these last words as the blister of summer settles into my tired bones and my dreams become gloomy. It's time for me to say goodbye, as the night of my journey is nearly here. This path is now yours to travel alone. You now possess the Klyatva and the Amethil scabbard, which are both yours to wield and utilize. Take good care of these relics because they are more than just objects— they represent your connection to the past. Farewell, my son. Though I leave this realm, my spirit shall ever be with you. In eternal bond, Your Father, Sir Rurik, Grand Prizak of Rychwald
Laeonathan 5889 Share Posted July 22, 2024 "I thought it would be an heirloom," The Amethil who had just made him a scabbard spoke as his gaze drifted away. "But so soon...? I had not thought this. Oh the valah," Raziel lamented as he looked upon the stars. "They fade so quickly. Greet Caius from me, ti..?"
sapphic_spidy 1089 Share Posted July 23, 2024 Sydney doesn't remember. The blood loss, the shock, it was all too much. Amara would, though. Amara would remember one of the men who nearly killed them both. Sydney doesn't remember, but if he did... He has no pity for roadside bandits.
