This is the tale of Lord Hiebe, leader of the legendary dwarven warrior caste.... The Legion.

Hiebe was born to Lord Dwain Irongut in Kal' Urguan. His mother and father taught Hiebe in the ways of politics and warfare. Hiebe's father, Dwain, was killed in a battle between the dwarven army and the orc raiders. Dwain was the dwarven cities last defender and killed over 300 orcs single-handly. Hiebe vowed from that day to gain vengence for his father's death.

When Hiebe became of age he joined the dwarven army, and expanding his knowlege of warfare even more. He rose quickly through the ranks. Hiebe became a leader of his own battalion and decided that the main dwarven army was not good enough and trained his own battalion to great extreames. He named the new battalion, The Legion.

The Legion proved itself in many battles as to be able to attack and kill armies of their enemies with 5:1 odds against them. The Legion has only the best of the best within their ranks. Some say that Hiebe's men have super natural powers which let them keep fighting when no other person could. This however, has never been proven.

All Legionaires are hand picked by Lord Hiebe and very few make it into the Legion. Legionaires are paid by the jobs they do for Lord Hiebe and are under only Lord Hiebe's orders.... The king by law is the true leader and is highly respectful of Lord Hiebe's men and are commonly used as vanguards of the army, going where-ever needed. The Legion is a loyal to the crown only and will protect the crown if there is war or ever mutiny. The one thing Lord Hiebe has been able to do for his fellow dwarven friends is to somewhat break the curse of greed. It will always be there but in smaller measures.

Lord Hiebe spends his days improving himself and his men. Hiebe is a very kind and honorable dwarf and will do anything for his men. He is found often drinking and eating with his battalion. As this is a dwarf's favorite past time.

Lord Hiebe's only weakness is of mushrooms..... he cant be around them and no one knows besides his mother who had fed him mushroom soup once for his cold and Hiebe chocked and almost died.

Lord Hiebe is a big political member as many fellow dwarves follow him and is open to join the high councial.
