ONLY the will can be taken in-character!! the rest is merely a narrative explaining the build up to her death!

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Emma Bukhuizen, more popularly known by her alias Ms. E was the standard blonde beauty. She was always seen in green, often wearing dresses that were on the verge of being promiscuous or even showed too much skin, or were a bit too form-fitting. Nonetheless, she was more known for other achievements other than her looks, such as becoming the Herrin Der Gastfruenschaft for the Princess's Council on Prince Ferninand's first wife, A steward, and for becoming the beloved owner of the Drunken Maiden in Minitz til today .. which made her a very involved member of the community despite being an elfess.

But alas, it appears quite a lot went on behind the scenes. It is the story of a lifelong rivalry that ended in her demise.

It started when an old friend arrived at Minitz, a certain Violet Tea. Similarly to Ms. E, Violet too was a bit of a runaway...in a life where they had it all but it was ripped away by someone awful. Violet lived with Ms. E, assisted her, and was her quiet shadow .. but thanks to Violet, Ms. E was no longer the only blonde in town with eyes on her.

Ms. E always had a near 'mean girl' aura to her, though most chalked it up to the fact she was originally from Healun'or, or self-confidence.. when she truly merely enjoyed being the center of attraction. She loved the attention, yearned for it, and she more often than not got it at her tavern or around town, praised for her event planning or renovations .. but attention shifted. A fellow blonde with talents of her own .. a beloved physician and warband medic that began to get attention of her own ..

Ms. E didn't pay too much mind, why would she? In her mind, she was always the prettier one, surely Violet could never one-up her? ... but ah, she could. Violet truly was the one thing Ms. E could never be, human. It's one thing to be a pretty woman in a town of human men. It's another thing to be a well-looking HUMAN woman in a town of human men.

But again, for a time, Ms. E didn't pay too much mind. Why? well, Ms. E didn't care if attention was shifted.. as she had attention solely from one man, her tavern's co-owner, Rafael Stroheim. The forbidden feelings were seen only behind closed doors, helped hidden by Violet who helped Rafael enter and leave when they spent time together. Ms. E always wanted a family, and she nearly had it back home in the Silver City as well but got ripped away by an awful marriage and an even worse man. Ms. E was over the moon with Rafael, it was something so new.. so exciting. All her life she was surrounded by elvan men who were all Copy-paste duplicates of each other, all tall, slim with some long blonde hair and striking eyes.. but no, not Rafael. He had long black hair, a darker complexion, deep eyes, and a personality one would never seen in a man from Healun'or. From the outside, the two appeared to always banter, go back and forth, and work on the tavern side by side.. gifts began to be exchanged, specifically a golden ring given to her. In her culture, gold is equivalent to dirt. It's awful, the color and its being worthless, often associated with the old and current disliking to the wood elves who too have golden eyes - but. This was different. She wasn't offended when given the ring. She didn't get upset or tell him how her culture viewed such material.. she knew it meant something very different. To humans, gold is very extravagant jewelry material, something worth a good amount and even used for currency .. as well as how would a human possibly know such a foreign culture and dislike the material? Rafael's gesture was one of compassion, and Ms. E accepted it with open arms.. wearing the golden ring til the day she died, turning her back on something so greatly frowned upon in her life as romance grew more important..

But, some things don't last forever. It started with Rafael's found family, Roland and Varik Sturmweber approaching her in her own home to claim that she can not continue with Rafael. Despite her denying the truth of their relations, Roland put his foot down claiming if anything were to continue, the consequences could be grave. Ironically, that night Violet had to help Rafael sneak out her window so Roland would not catch him there.

This interaction would cause a downward spiral of hate, jealousy, and rivalry. Ms. E who was at her peak, began a very slow decline, one that would take place for the next fifty years.

Soon after the conversation, Ms. E fully took over the tavern and began immense renovations on the city.. starting with her Tavern, then the Clinic, and so on. She loathed the fact she wasn't human, she hated her own kind as due to such she never could have what she wanted.. a normal life, a normal family, and her lover. So, as a way to cope, she began to work overtime. She completed the Tavern renovations in the course of just one month and completed the clinic the next month. The Drunken Maiden started to work closely with the Bailiff Wormwald, being approved to sell and import foreign goods, as well as host tavern nights regularly. Ms. E forced herself to never be alone with her thoughts, that is.. she couldn't ever be alone. Violet Tea was always in her shadow. When Ms. E was alone, Violet was there with her. And Violet felt the woman's displaced wrath.

It started with comments, and negative affirmations of how quiet Violet was, how boring she was, how she was human and still couldn't get someone. And Violet took it all, as Violet was the only one who knew of Ms. E's situation and knew she was having a hard time. Violet was quiet, she did seem monotone .. but she was truly kinder than anyone else, and yet, she was bullied for it. These words continued, only rising up more and more as others also joined in, insisting Violet would find herself a partner but to no avail. Things got worse upon Robert Stroheim asking her out when under the influence.. only to take back his offer once sober. This only increased Ms. E's words, and this is when Violet began to believe it.

Before, Violet assumed Ms. E's words were said out of emotional distress of her own situation.. but upon the rejection, she began to believe maybe she was boring, maybe she was too quiet .. too drawn back. Violet would never tell Ms. E that she truly did want love as well, she wished she was as outgoing as Ms. E .. but she never was. Things only got worse from there. Ms. E and Varik tried to set Violet up on a date with Roland at some point, which he declined in front of Violet herself who stood idle and quiet in a corner as he found someone else he fancied.. not long after, Violet sat and spoke with a woman - Roland handed the other woman a note, a date proposal.. which the woman declined. Violet couldn't help but feel shame.. and Ms. E watched from inside the tavern with a smirk on her face.

The insults and harmful words behind closed doors only grew between Ms. E and Violet. Violet wasn't just the boring, quiet, woman .. she was now titled the other woman. And she hated it. She couldn't stand it. And to make things worse? Rafael, prompted by others also began to make some near flirt-acious comments to Violet, which only made Ms. E's comments grow more mean.

Ms. E had the mentality that if she couldn't have her happy ending, nor could she. Ms. E was the reason Violet even came to Minitz in the first place, without Ms. E, Violet would have nothing, and Ms. E needed to ensure this. So, she continued to belittle Violet, telling her she was nothing, boring, merely not pretty enough to be the first choice. But, she always did so in a way that seemed.. genuine.. like a friend merely helping her friend see herself for who she is, and Violet fell for every manipulative word.

But, things began to go south for Ms. E's plan. Roland began to get closer to Violet .. eventually courting her. Ms. E was of course shocked and angered, but because of whom she was with, and for that fact she was with someone in general... and Ms. E was not. Roland was one of the main contributors to her losing Rafael, and Violet was meant to stay as her punching bag.. and now here they are? Together? The Warchief and Combat medic? Something that seemed straight from a romance novel? Oh, Ms. E seethed with jealousy.. she was the one meant to get a family, attract those with her looks, and have a happy ending... but Violet was getting it?

Nonetheless, she tried to twist the situation, doubling down to Violet that she will always be the other woman.. how Roland only went to her because he was rejected by that redhead all that time ago.. and Violet believed it, but stayed with Roland anyway.. she believed Ms. E's words, but also believed Roland truly did care for her. She was torn .. but opened up to Roland anyway behind closed doors.

Soon they were engaged, and Ms. E got to decorate the church for the wedding begrudgingly.. Ms. E decorated the church for her own perfect wedding, not Violet's, making everything white and prim, something suitable for a high elf rather than a human.. let alone an Adunian who was nearly to the same level as a wood elf in her silver city mindset. Ms. E created the wedding interior she wanted to be in, with a certain someone.. but alas she had to bite her tongue seeing Violet walk down the aisle to meet Roland at the alter.

Violet had now two of the three things Ms. E wanted most in life, A loving partner and marriage. And she would soon have the third thing, something Ms. E yearned for more than anything else, a family. Violet doesn't have one kid, but two, a boy and a girl.. twins.. and it only grew Ms. E's pure jealousy and rage for that woman. During this time, the war with Veletz and the Frank on Minitz grew more hostile, causing the war chief and his medic to be busy.. leaving Ms. E to babysit. She grew close to Bernhardt, she figured she might as well become close with the children she never got to have. Especially Bernhardt. In her mind, she'd grow close to the children and tell them little lies about Violet, change their opinion of their mother.. but, that plan changed, and Ms. E grew attached to them in an aunt or familial way rather than manipulative.. But, growing close to the children was still torment for Violet. She could never take the kids away from Ms. E or they'd be upset, nor would they ever believe when older all the horrible things Ms. E said and did to her. Ms. E managed to find yet another way to upkeep her reputation .. and in a way, Isolate Violet more. Around this time, is when Violet started to become more.. self-aware, starting to realize Ms. E's actions weren't of one's of good nature but rather evil. The rivalry was now double-sided, with two participating parties.

As time went on, tensions grew between the women. Violet realized she had the life Ms. E never got to have, and she realized how deep the elfess's jealousy went. And she began to use that to go against her, so much so that she even agreed to have a third child with Roland, Eduard. She never wanted more kids.. but seeing Ms. E's expression upon hearing the news that the family was growing even more brought a hint of satisfaction. Violet also began to rant to Roland rarely about Ms. E as well, expressing her disliking.. but sadly, it seemed most of it went through one year and out the other as the man was so shocked to see his wife was even capable of being so.. energetic and angry about something. That also was a reality check for Violet.. deep down she still believed Ms. E's words, but she then realized perhaps she truly had been so quiet.. so, drawn back.. that even her own husband didn't see the real her. And part of that hurt more than Ms. E's words.. but fueled their rivalry even more.

A turning point was after a Franks attack, leaving many injured including Ms E. This is when the first witness to their tensions is found, Robert Stroheim. Ms. E was hurt, her head bleeding and some broken, Violet treated her without numbing, without putting her to sleep, and did a half-assed job.. however, even a quick job for Violet is still quite well done.. but, one other person besides Violet could recognize her intentionally rushed work, the man who's handling another patient behind her, Robert. The cherry on top for Violet was cutting Ms. E's sentimental hair piece she wore, her green ribbon .. claiming she had to do so for treatment.

As time went on, tensions grew more and more... up to Reinmar their rivalry continued. Ms. E didn't have as much to do anymore.. she didn't have to do renovations, events were more of scheduling rather than her being in full control, and all she had was a tavern. And a tavern couldn't keep her mind off things to the point she needed, so the treatment of Violet only grew worse.

Arguments between the two in public began to break out, witnessed by their loved ones, witnessed by notably Roland, Varik, and Mariola. Things ramped up even more. And Ms. E wasn't going down without a fight. She began to talk to others, in order to get at Violet.. and what could she say? She could expose Violet's past. And that's exactly what she did. Starting with Violet's first-ever love interest back home when she was merely a teenager.. with a boy named Jones, a dark elf. She told Violet's son, Roland, and Varik all about how Violet loved this boy who was allegedly named Jones, and how he moved away and Violet was never able to find him.. and how she'd never be with Roland if Jones was still around. Ms. E also ensured not to mention this boy was a dark elf, either. This caused Roland quite an amount of paranoia and jealousy.. having thoughts about his wife that he wished to not be true. And when Violet found out, she snapped.

Violet has endured so much bullying, and so much verbal abuse from Ms. E .. and now she's spreading it to her family? Spreading her past and making it out that actions from her childhood are still relevant in the present day? Nearly forty years later? And behind her back? She was pissed. And she snapped, threatening Ms. E physically and even acting physically.. but nothing serious.. yet.

A bit later, yet another turning point happened. A large meeting at the palace, where the Sturmwebers would be granted the Barony .. but it seems two people didn't arrive immediately, those two being Violet and Emma. But where could they be? Ms. E had followed Violet to her office downstairs, as Violet was no longer a combat medic but rather a mortician. Ms. E and Violet had begun bickering again.. which caused Violet to shove Ms. E, who fell onto one of the tables.. the tables where Violet would do her mortuary work. They continued and Eventually Violet was on top of Ms. E, a scalpel in hand.. and who walked in? Mariola. Mariola was also someone who Ms. E had brought to Minitz,  a wood elf. They were like sisters til' Mariola noticed the passive-aggressive comments Ms. E made toward her... At the end of the day, Emma was still a high elf from Healun'or, even if they were so close to someone, a mindset didn't change. Therefore, Mariola didn't help Ms. E despite Ms. E's pleas, she simply stated

“Mrs. Sturmweber, the meeting is in ten minutes” .. then walked right back up and out, and attended the meeting. Leaving Violet and Ms. E alone yet again. Ms. E tried to yell out for help, and one person did notice.. but alas, Violet silenced Ms. E with her hand, and whoever came to investigate soon left. Soon, only the two girls were not in attendance. What was done to Ms. E isn't known, besides the fact she ended up in the locked freezer in the room.. the freezer only Violet had keys too. Violet then left to attend to meeting where she gave the key to Mariola, she told her that Ms. E was alive.. just in there. She then attended the meeting just in time, as she was able to be there when the Barony of Wesenburg was announced. Violet did not return to her office that night, but Mariola did. She found Ms. E barely awake in the freezer.. and knocked her out. That morning, Violet added the name Ms. E to the morgue. But this was not a final death, the monks had taken the soul and given Emma back, and the unrecognizable elfess body sat in the morgue.. only two people were able to know who it was.

Things calmed down after this incident, the girls did not speak to one another. Ms. E had no memory of the instance, and Violet would never speak of it again.

Things began to look up, it seemed perhaps.. that conclusion settled Violet and Ms. E deep down felt something off. A few years go by and who shows his face on Reinmar often again? Rafael. Ms. E started to talk with him again, her golden ring still in hand as they bantered.. but Rafael wasn't alone, a woman was with him, Ivona. She wasn't happy to see how close Ms. E was to him, and nor was Ms. E. But, at that time, she was unaware of the relationship between Rafael and Ivona.. later a group was at the town square, Ms. E was there with Rafael, Ivona, and others.. when Ivona decided to call Ms. E the elf slur to which he promptly left .. and Violet defended Ms. E for once, saying it wasn't right. Ivona even came to the tavern to apologize .. Later Ms. E, Rafael, and Violet spoke privately.. speaking about the relationship between Ms. E and Rafael. Ms. E was over the moon the last few months with Rafael back in her life, and the terrorization of Violet had stopped. But this conversation would change everything. During this talk, both parties- Rafael and Ms. E confessed that even after fifty years, their feelings were still there .. but.. Rafael had more to say. He revealed then he was courting Ivona, saying he had to as he was told he must produce children as the family was dying out, and they needed more in Reinmar .. and that it wouldn't be possible to do this with Ms. E. Emma didn't reply much, but stared heartbroken. Everything she felt when Violet revealed she was engaged and having kids came back. But, Violet spoke up.. saying not all half-elves look elvan. She then gestured to herself, revealing there is a chance she herself, may be a half-elf. Rafael protested, saying it was impossible she was as she didn't look the part, and she had kids - while half-elves are typically infertile and have at least some ears to show.. but, Violet was smart, she was a doctor.. did she find a way to still have kids? Keeping her true self hidden? It's unknown, as she herself doesn't even know for sure who her father is.. but nonetheless, she used herself merely as an example to show it is possible for Rafael and Ms. E to have their happy ending. Rafael eventually stated he cared for Ivona enough he wouldn't break up with her, rather, if Ms. E convinced her to leave.. he then would stay with Ms. E.

And so, Ms. E tried.. she used her charm and witts to try to convince Ivona out of it, stating how Rafael was only with her for kids.. yet, Ivona stayed, too loyal to Rafael to budge. Not more can be said. This marked it, Ms. E truly was at her lowest .. the reality hurt, this was her last shot at having the man she wanted, to have a family, her happy ending. But she couldn't have it. She never would.

The tavern went inactive .. Ms. E stopped working the counter and placed automatic stalls to give out alcohol instead. She no longer was keeping her mind off things. She was truly alone, and not even Violet was there to be her shadow any more. Violet had her own life, she was happy in her marriage, her kids were all grown, she was a baroness, and she beat the allegations Ms. E placed on her. Emma only took out the stalls and hired workers once told to do so by Ravenna Barclay, these workers being Rebekka Kraus Hall and Aloisia Dietrich.. and even they, got their happy ending after coming to Reinmar. Rebekka was blooded and married to Bernhardt, Violet's son, now called Brigitte von Wesenburg, and Aloisia married a Barron off in Ravenmire..

Ms. E was miserable and defeated. It's unknown how it started, but Ms. E and Violet had another altercation. A big one. It started at the Wesenburg Manor and found its way to Violet's place of work. If Ms. E remembered what happened the last time she was here, she'd never return. But Violet remembered everything. And she was tired. She had stuck up for and tried to assist Ms. E throughout the years numerous times despite the abuse Ms. E gave in return, even revealing her biggest secret to Rafael in hopes of getting Ms. E the ending she wanted, and yet.. here Ms. E was.. still talking down to her. Ever since Rebekka and Aloisia began working at the tavern, Violet finally had friends.. especially Rebekka who was a fellow Adunian and now her daughter-in-law. Rebekka helped make Violet feel beautiful, made her realize she was happy, that Roland did love her and she loved him, made her realize she doesn't have to be what Ms. E says.. and Violet was the one enraged now, she was enraged she was nearly seventy, and she spent her whole life hating who she was and paranoid she was in a one-sided relationship, and now, only when her husband was old with little time left, only when her children were all grown, and only when she just got her life back.. did she realize it was all lies Ms. E had said to her, every issue she had was sparked from Insecurities formed by Ms. E. Violet got tunnel vision with rage as she attacked Ms. E, tackling her to the mortuary table and began to stab her with the scalpel in her hand.. Over, and over, and over. The rivalry had come to an end as her hand fell limp over the table, blood dripped down to the drain as the color left her already pale skin.. the only thing bright on her was the ring Rafael had given her all those years ago. Violet then did a proper procedure on Ms. E once her pulse was gone.. she was a mortician, after all, bodies were her specialty. Throughout all this, her son Bernhardt stood outside the metal door to the morgue, eyes wide.. he was stuck still in terror..

In Ms. E's office, laying on her desk was a piece of paper. The ginger employee of hers, Aloisia, was simply frolicking through the employees area of the tavern when she spotted it.

“Ehh? Oh Ich should put zhis away.. Ms E HATES her papers left out!” The bimbo said to herself as she picked up the paper, furrowing her brows as she attempted to read it with the little literacy skills she was taught

Vill? Er.. property- Ze Drunken Maiden- uhhhherr..” upon seeing what it is, she awkwardly took it, confused, unaware of the death yet…she walked up and over to Violet, whom was in the front of the clinic checking the donation bin.

“HALLO FRIEND!!” she yelled, startling the poor woman,

“ICH FOUND ZHIS!!” She said dramatically, holding it out for Violet to read. The mortician skimmed over it before sighing, a frown to her face.. Perhaps Ms. E knew she lost all along, if not Violet who took her out.. would she have done it herself? Violet shook her head ..

ehhh? Vhats vrong Ms. Wes?!” Aloisia frowned, seeing Violets expression.

. . Nothing dear, thank you” she forced a smile, patting the gingers head.

I'll handle this, you can run off now. .” to that, Aloisia slauted,

JA MA'AM!” and she ran off..

OOC NOTE:

Thank you to everyone who has been apart of Emma's story! Ms. E was my first every character on LOTC and who I used on my whitelist application as well. It's been nearly a year, next month will mark her one year anniversary!! She was a wonderful rp experience to have throughout Minitz and Reinmar! With her death I will be stepping down from running the tavern and being the Herrin Der Gastfruenschaft!

I decided to make her PK post explaining the largest RP build up I've ever done which took place from when I started playing til now, which was the rivalry between Violet and Emma!

MAJOR shout out to @Violet3vergarden, @Solour, @Fadedmoonlight, @ProChefJohnCena & CorporattesMutt for being large contributors to her story!

“Come now, my apprentice. I wish for you to observe the beginning of the end.”
A
woman spoke to a
man, her hair bleach white and her eyes a gold so similar to that of the Wood Elf of Reinmar. She sat atop her throne within the stone-cold walls. Her hand extended downwards as she began to speak.

In the coming days, Mariola Sturmweber would catch wind of the end of Emma Bukhuizen

“This… can not be.”
The elf, who had not yet reached her the young age of seventy, clutched the Will of the passed in her hand. The paper crumpled at the edges, and her knees dropped to the cracked wooden floor of a basement that she knew so well, the scratch marks on the wall, the blades of many that she had collected over the years. And a single metal loop in the middle, that once had a rope tied to it.

Teardrops fell, her body quaked as her stomach churned with each passing second. There was no reason for Emma to leave her anything, so why was she left with everything? She left her to die that night, she almost made sure of the death herself. There was no reason for Mariola to weep for the one that she had decided she hated so long ago, so why was it that this news brought her so much pain? It didn’t make sense! It would never make sense!

“Anyone else would’ve been a better choice, just not ME.”
In the depths of a Kretzen house, a child of Malin would weep in agony, and another would finally find solace; they would finally find the quiet.
“Why me?”
“Why me?”

Violet sat idly in her office, staring at the mortuary table placed across the room. She was finally at peace, truly, for the first time in her life.. she was no longer troubled, worried about her children, no longer questioning if she was happy, but she couldn't help but feel grief of the situation. Her gaze went down to the paper Aloisia handed her, the will she had to assist in finishing as Ms. E passed before able to do so.

". . . Violet Tea." she gave a weak smile,

"and Mariola as von Wesenburg. ." she stared at the words, she wasn't insulted, perhaps amused? She wasn't upset, she smiled reading what Emma referred to them as.

"Oh that damn ring. ." She mused, glancing to her burial request,

"Gosh . . so many men will be sad of this . . especially a certain someone . ."  She turned her head to where Emma's body was stored,

"Perhaps I should let him see her one last time . ."

As word of Miss E's death reaches Sir Varik von Wesenburg, he grimaces, almost wincing, as if in pain. With a heavy sigh, he wrings his hands, his mind cluttered with grim thoughts.

"So young..." he mutters. So many of his friends and acquaintances seem to be dying recently.

Despite Miss E fitting comfortably in the latter category, he'd certainly expected to see her around for many, many more years. This death, though distant, strikes somewhat deeply, proving the fragility of life, no matter how long it should last...

Bernhardt kept a straight expression as he cleaned up after the usual bloody procedure in the garrison, the last few days was odd ,, he actually was showing up regularly to work, he wasn't cracking jokes, he was serious and matter of fact, nearly mean to those he treated. How was he meant to cope? what was he meant to say? Just tell everyone what he saw and heard? what was done? He was in shock. Bernhardt was always the emotional type, but what does one do when for the first time, he cant cry? he cant react?

While cleaning, his wife walked in slowly, papers in hand..

"Bernhardt .." she said in a serious yet solum tone, he turned to look and he shook his head,

"Nicht now my love, Ich a-"

"Bernhadt.. I have news."

"Please, Ich don-"

"Bernhardt. This is serious-"

"SHES DEAD, ICH KNOW! Ich FU.." he stared at his wife after the outbust... stopping himself. He frowned, walking over to hug her.

"... ich am sorry .. i.. i know .. i know shes gone. Mein ... Mother told me.
