PREAMBLE

 

From the meadowlands of Solland to the border of Renilcia, the Commonwealth is home to a number of woods rife with abundant game which to hunt within its forested confines. As efforts in the east have seen continued progress at the Battles of Driftwood Hollow & Port Cormath, there is cause to celebrate amidst one another within the Commonwealth as a whole.

 

Therefore, under the supervision and organisation of the Duchess-Consort of Vohenheim, a hunt is announced for the houses and denizens of the realm. Together shall the Konnywald be braved in search of the plentiful game which resides within its confines.

The Meadowlands Hunt

 

Those participating in the ducal hunt shall meet in the city of Vallagne for the sake of convenience given the wide berth of invitations for the event. Under the direction of the Duchess-Consort the party shall then make their way south into the Canton of Solland.

Once at the edge of the Konnywald, the Duchess-Consort and her attendants shall lead the party into its confines, and the hunt for game shall begin. With preference given for boar,  given their abundance within the Petrine woodlands. Unlike the deer found in Ladyr’s Break across the River Petra, the boars which inhabit the woods are not shy of confrontation, and shall likely pose a dangerous foe to any who come unprepared, or do not keep to their wits about them beneath the dark canopy of the Konnywald. 

 

A special prize shall be given to whomever slays the largest boar of the hunt by the Duchess in honour of their skill. Such is no small feat, given the description of the creatures in the Cursory Study of the Petran Commonwealth by Prince Gareth Lucius, himself noting the aggressive nature and large numbers of the creature contained within the woods.

 

Therefore, the Duchess advises those who shall be partaking in the hunt to come well-armed, both with spear and bow that might be utilised atop horseback to minimise the risk to life and limb posed by the creatures of the Konnywald.
