To the Citizens of Cauróst,

 

By the authority of the crown and will of the High Prince, Let it be known the grove-dwelling faction known as the Men in Yellow, or Yellowmen, are hereby summoned to stand trial before the High Prince and the Ivory Crown in order to address allegations of misconduct and legal violations during their residence among the Princedom.

 

The trial shall convene in the Eldertree Halls in four month’s time. Witnesses are beholden to present themselves to the High Prince prior to the trial should they wish to testify.

He had been ready to intervene, of course; but far better that it did not end with further bloodshed. A letter was penned to the High Prince, stating that he, or - rather Sorrel - would testify. Caurost had become his home, and this was the least he could do.
