Hello everyone! I'm Vinny Magpie'Ox, niece of Molly Magpie.
Candidate for Chambery Borgmestre position.

 

I'm new here in Chambery, yet she has already become my new home like she did for Molli.

 

Chambery was a haven for Molli in difficult times. A kind place that offered a new opportunity to make her dreams and passion come true, a small winery. Even though my aunt sadly had to depart, her dreams continue to blossom through me, her niece.

 

We all have dreams and passions, and we all want to feel love, kindness and want to belong where we can feel home.

And that is what I want for Chambery to be, to become and to stay.

 

For that I want to stand and fight as possible future Borgmestre!

For that I plan like following:

 

- To reach out to the creative, to the industrious, to the artists and artisans from all corners. I wish to strengthen and widen Chambery's Tourism Bureau. To advertise our cultural goods from events, to arts and products. So we can become a haven for all kind kin.

 

- In the same manner to make the dreams possible, artisans and business will be supported through lower taxing and a simple and supportive system for the opening of new business.

 

- Also culture and sciences will be supported. It would include the financial support of research projects and the teaching task of the NGS, the local museum and Redquill College.

 

- More large and small cultural events will be supported and held. That includes communal tavern nights, music plays, storytelling meets and other fantastic Events organised by the town or privatly by citizens.

 

- Also for the young, I want to give a Chance, for them to grow up protected and give them opportunity for growth. Families and yough will be supported, so children can get education and free time for play, for arts and other. For them to follow their interests and passion. Yet always help them, guiding them towards adultship.

I also want to open new places where the young can meet and play freely. 

 

- To secure and preserve our kindness and benevolence, so it doesn't fall victim to oppotunistic thiefs and evildoers, who only want to spread harm. I will work to increase the size and quality of our guard. And show our ability to defend ours self with swift, consequent action and harsh, but fair punishment.

 

- Finally I will take care of our port and want to increase it, so commerce and people can flow unimpeded.

Those are my ideas, ideas to make Chambery a place where we can feel home. A haven of ours.
