With great joy and warm hearts, Dame-Chancellor Amelie Auclair and I, her devoted husband Lord Mayor Sorrel Auclair, extend to you a most festive invitation to welcome the New Saint’s Year in grand celebration at Courteis Hale. On New Year’s Day, let us cast aside the weariness of the past and gather beneath the banners of fellowship, laughter, and merriment!

The halls of Courteis Hale shall be decked in finery, the hearth roaring with flame, and tables laden with treats to delight young and old alike. As the snow dusts the Meadowlands and the bells of Vallagne ring bright and clear, we shall revel in the company of friends, kin, and allies.

Amusements and Delights Await!

• A Game of Hide and Seek – Courteis Hale’s winding halls and hidden nooks shall be the stage for a grand game of hide and seek. The seeker, chosen by draw, will have until the hour strikes to uncover the hidden. The last to be found shall win a prize most fitting of their cleverness!
• The Dance of the Clock – Guests will be invited to join in a lively round of musical chairs – with a Petran twist. The victor shall be crowned “The Last Standing of the Old Year.”
• The Kettle of Fortune – Each guest will have the chance to pull from the New Year’s kettle, where charms and fortunes lie tucked within. Will you draw prosperity, love, or adventure for the year ahead? Only the kettle knows!

We eagerly anticipate your presence at this joyful gathering. Together, we all shall toast to the health of our Commonwealth, the bonds that strengthen us, and the hope that the coming year shall bring peace and plenty to all.
