Mother and daughter stood together in the living room, the warmth of the fireplace, a soft light filled the room. There was an air of serenity between them, as if time had stopped, and the conversation was naturally turning to Amelie and Sorrel.

“It really makes me happy to see them so happy,” Valerie said, smiling sweetly. “See how they are finding their balance? It's like every step they take brings them closer to their happiness.”

Rey nodded, his eyes full of affection and a subtle pride. 'Yes, it's incredible. I never imagined that after all this time, they would really find that peace. I see them growing every day, and I'm so happy for them.’

Valerie paused, looking out the window, as if memories were flooding into her mind. ‘You know, there were times when I thought they would never overcome some difficulties. But now I see how they got back up, how they found the strength within themselves.’

‘There was so much laughter, so many days together,’ the daughter replied, smiling as she remembered. ‘When we were all together, that house always seemed warmer, fuller. The simple moments, like when Uncle made us laugh with his stories, or Auntie prepared Grandma's specialties....I remember those days with so much affection.’

Valerie looked at her daughter, her eyes shining with tenderness. ‘And I remember how we all felt united, in a way I'll never forget. But you know, it's different now. Now we are just extras, those silent figures who watch, support and stay behind the scenes. I don't want to interfere with their happiness or the progress they are making. I always wanted the best for them.’

Rey took Valerie's hand, a tired hand, suffering from age, from the wounds and wars Valerie experiences every day, shaking it affectionately. ‘You are right. We are not here to take their place, but to be there, without ever disturbing them. We just want them to continue to grow and be well, with our discreet support.’

‘Exactly,’ Valerie replied, with a satisfied smile. ‘We are like the hero's helpers, from a good book. We don't want to spoil their story, we just want to be happy to see them living their dream. And there is nothing more beautiful than seeing them grow and shine.’

The two looked at each other, feeling the strength of the bond that united them. Even if they were not centre stage, they knew that their love and support was the silent engine that powered every step of that family, their hearts filled with gratitude for the precious memories they had built together.

((OOC: I play Val, and im not the same player that play Rey. To clarify that i play only Valerie, and Rey is played by RedyAmiko a friend of mine irl. I appreciate to just enjoy the post as we both just want play and chill out. Thx))

Hi lovelies! With just this cute text, i just want to just clarify Valerie and Rey (the only two auclair in the Valeriane line) position. I love and support with all my hearth what tilly and apri have done or are doing for Petra as well for our Household. That also the why, me and Rey player, wish to step down and refuse any noble rank in petra, we both wished to support and help with no purpose, the two wounderfull person that tilly and apri are.
