           I WRITE WITH GREAT DELIGHT THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THIS JOYOUS EVENT. Since the men were both young they have shared a bond of friendship that others would claim to be lucky to bear. One that brings them closer than most. To live and learn together, grow and change. Both were able to see the other find love and grow their own families, then to see their own kin grow and bond together just as they did with each other. It has been over 40 years, 43 to be exact, that these two have shared this beautiful friendship. 

 

         I invite all throughout Haense friends and strangers alike to join us in celebration of all the accomplishments of these two men. Festivities will occur throughout the lands of both Colborn and Weiss. This event had been a surprise organized by the children of both families to show the gratitude and thanks we hold towards our Fathers. To keep the spirit the events organized will too remain a surprise for all attending especially the men of the hour!

All guests are invited to wear upon their countenance’s masks to disguise their appearances! This is to commemorate the Masquerade Ball the two attended as mere boys! Just like the generation of today as they will soon attend Lifstala and many other festivities that these two attended years ago just as we did. Meeting one fateful night during the nameday of none other than Tatiyana Ruthern, the very Lady the Fort Tatiyana is named after, this where their friendship blossomed. The hope is that many others can form just like their did here tonight!

Once a Weiss and Colborn, Always a Weiss and Colborn. It has been honored in Scyfling culture for many years that sword dances remain a tradition and occur. Just as it has been a tradition of the Weiss family during their own events to duels and spars occur. Both of these shall be upheld during this party! Guests are encouraged to participate in the spars held upon the grounds of the two houses. The sword dance that shall occur is specifically bestowed upon a special two that shall be announced during the night!

The last event of the celebration shall occur as we finally make our way closer to the Weiss keep in Novkursain where it neighbors Kazan. Held beside Lake Amaya, all shall gather and finish out the night in the company of one another alike. Worries and fears happily put aside to find joy in the company of those around you! Feel free to drink and eat and thrive in the merriments that will be held all around us.
