[Player Event] THE FERRETS ARE COMING

Hi there! This is a Celia'nor player event that I've been working on that is finally coming into fruition that will span a few days! Please leave an IRP reply to this post or DM me on discord if you are interested!

 

 

 

 

Lume Ferrets are, usually, a little rare.

 

It was a quiet, sleepy day in Celia'nor when the first ferret was spotted. It was a Lume Ferret, a rambunctious, adventurous little thing that skittered around the city like mad. When the citizens first saw the thing - and it was quite sizable, about the size of your average dog - they were quite confused. After all, what kind of ferret just walks into a city full of descendants without fear? 

They let it be, for it seemed mostly harmless, until it started breaking into things.

Breaking into houses, breaking into shops, breaking into the teahouse. It ransacked and it ransacked, until it was finally chased away by the panicked citizens.

The damage was small, for it was only one ferret, but the deed was done. There was a strangeness in the air that night; for a ferret had never been seen causing such havoc in Celia'nor before. 

 

For another week, all was calm. People started to forget about the messy ferret, and guessed it was just an odd coincidence.

...until they came in larger numbers.

Ferrets started popping up all over the city; in the clinic, in the garden, in the streets. There were still not enough to cause a large disturbance, but there were enough for people to notice - and be annoyed. They continued to ransack the city, digging holes, opening chests, breaking into things. It was completely, and utterly, inexplicable - what kind of ferrets just did that? - and the citizens continued to chase them away, and away, but they continued to come back for more. It was food that they took, mostly - and it didn't seem to matter to them that their very lives were at stake. When citizens tried to attack them, they would ferociously retaliate, scratching and biting and running away. 

 

Ferret sightings began to pop up all over the city; what could possibly be going on?

I tried to keep this post short because I want players to find out most things about the event IRP. There will be investigations, cute, wholesome interactions, and a tiny tiny bit of CRP as well! I hope to see a good turnout!
