On a frigid night the Cult of the Damned emerged from the shadows with their sinister whispers echoing through the outskirts of the human nations.

Cloaked in darkness the cultists of Khorvad scattered like phantoms, leaving a trail of terror in their wake as they descended upon unsuspecting townsfolk, murdering, kidnapping, and spreading dread among the innocent.

 

Three remarkable souls caught their attention, whisked away into the night for unholy reasons. Among the captives was a peculiar cannonist nun Ash'n whose unwavering faith and sharp intellect set her apart from others, taken right from under her sept. Next was Royce, a cunning rogue known for his silver tongue and quick wit. However that did not saved him from the fate that awaited him as his legs were broken from the fight that ensued.
Lastly, there was Princess Sissiel of Norland, fierce and resolute as her royal bearing belied by a warrior's spirit. She tried to save Royce to no avail as she was meet with the flames that Blackheart conjured, causing her trusty armor to melt into her skin. Perhaps both Norlanders could be saved if only the local dwedmar decided to act instead of hiding in their homes.

 

Both the rouge and the nun were taken to become a worthy sacrifice for their God.

As for the princess, Norlanders recieved a bloody letter with a thumb of the woman.
 

"Blackheart sends his regards"

The fate of Sissiel remains unknown, for now.

Ljúfvina was greatly displeased that this Grendel decided to hunt during the official Solgaard nap-time. She frowned, for such creatures dare not lurk when actual threats were awake and about.
