To the steadfast citizens of the Commonwealth of the Petra and our cherished allies,

Rejoice! The long and bitter Bleakfall has at last broken. The ceaseless snow that once blanketed our Meadowlands has ceased its relentless fall, and the River Petra, our lifeblood, has thawed from its icy hold. The feet upon feet of snow that once buried our fields have nearly melted away, revealing the promise of a resplendent land beneath. Today, I declare the beginning of the First Petran Spring upon Aevos—a season of renewal, growth, and boundless possibility.

The Bleakfall tested us like no other, with its chill biting deep and its snows stealing our harvests. Yet, in the face of its dismal reach, the spirit of the Petran people has shone brighter than ever before. Together, we endured. We shared what little we had, warmed each other with our resolve, and proved that no storm, no matter how fierce, could break the heart of the Commonwealth.

Let us also extend our deepest gratitude to our allies in Celia’nor, whose kindness and aid sustained us through the coldest of days. Their food nourished our people, their supplies warmed our homes, and their friendship reminded us that the bonds we forge in times of trial are what truly endure.

Now, as the sun’s gentle rays breathe life back into our fields, let us turn our efforts to replanting and rebuilding. The Petran soil, kissed by the meltwaters of the Bleakfall, promises abundance. Together, we will sow the seeds of a bountiful harvest, just as we sowed the seeds of resilience and unity throughout the storm.

Though the Bleakfall was a time of hardship, it was also a testament to the strength of our community. Let us carry this spirit of togetherness into the days ahead, knowing that the First Petran Spring will bring not just the bloom of flowers, but the bloom of hope and prosperity for all who call the Meadowlands home.
