PREAMBLE

 

The dual household once founded by the twin royals, Rafael and Renata, were granted a special peerage of which represented themselves; two-in-one. As time passes, though, the winds of change blow through the desert sands and it is with the most recent discussion with the Dual Baronial household of del Maravilla, and the unique circumstances of which the familial branch finds themselves in, that the Crown announces the acceptance of the merge and absorption of the once dual household.

The terms of which shall be enumerated below, for all descendants of the household to follow:

 

 




 

Article I - Naming and Titleage

 

I.01 - The lines of Maravilla-Clemente and Maravilla-Evaristo are hereby merged.

I.01.a - The titles of Barony of Clemente and Barony of Evaristo are absorbed back into the Crown; the official title used being the Barony of Soles Gemelos.

 

I.02 - The Baroness Vania del Maravilla shall hold the title of Peer.

I.02.a - The once Baron Andres del Maravilla forfeits his title of Peer.

 

I.03 - The children of the merged household are recognized as a Lady and Lord respectively.

I.03.a - The children of Andres del Maravilla of which hold the Murietta name are exempt from this Edict.

I.03.b - The children of Andres del Maravilla of which hold the Murietta name may petition the Crown to take on the name of Murietta-Maravilla; in doing so, they shall be recognized as Lords and Ladies respectively.



 

I.04 - The meritorial heirship of the household shall be honored, allowing for the heirship to pass onto the Peers chosen Heir.

I.04.a - This does not extend to any children who hold the name of Murietta-Maravilla.



 

I.05 - In terms of etiquette and law, the children of the merged lines are considered of main-line nobility.

I.05.a - In terms of etiquette and law, children who bear the name Murietta-Maravilla are considered of non main-line nobility.





 

Article II - Contributions and Expectations

 

II.01 - The merged branches are afforded the rights, privileges, and obligations of the Nobility.

 

II.02 - It is the Peer’s duty to see to the care of the merged lines.

II.02.a - They are to provide housing on their lands.

I.02.b - They are to see to the protection and upholding of honor of their household.

II.02.c - They are responsible for all actions and contributions of the merged household, whether negative or positive.

II.02.d - It is the Peer's prerogative to have the final decision in familial matters, such as marriage and disownment.



 

Article III - Criminality and Nullification

 

III.01 - In the event that the del Maravilla household finds themselves to no longer hold a Peerage, this agreement is null and void.

 

III.02 - In the event of a member of the merged branches being disowned, or having a bastard, they would take on the bastard name of the del Maravilla household.

 

III.03 - This edict is considered otherwise indefinite and at the discretion of the Hyspian Crown.
