A Pact With Akezo

The Flower Fields

 

Akazamzarak'Gorkil and Bon'Ox, after falling what was seemingly almost forever, find themselves in a field of pink flowers, a bright and sunny day unlike what they previously experienced.

As Akazamzarak got up, Bon'Ox did so too and patted Ak' on the back saying "Hozh job laat, hozh work."  

Ak' replied, "Rulg laat." However, he was still trying to get his bearings, and he had not grown accustomed to these spirit walks just yet. He began walking around and touching the flowers, he's never seen a place so beautiful, peaceful, and majestic.

However, Ak' was not here to look around and enjoy nature and relax, he was here to pact with a spirit of Akezo and he was lucky enough to land in the right spirit realm. He looked around for a moment before he spoke loudly, not yelling or shouting just speaking a bit louder than usual saying in Old Blah, "SHRA ATIG?" - (Is anyone there?)

Shortly after Akazamzarak called out, one of the bushes nearby began to shake before the bush itself sprouted up from the ground standing on two legs made out of roots, two flowers acting as its eyes as it replied with a long, "Aaaaaaakh?" - (Yeeeeeeessss?)

Akazamzarak jaw seemingly dropped at the sight of the spirit, blinking a couple of times before regaining his composure and replied by saying "Izish hon- palkat sha frum." - (I seek to pact with a spirit.)

Whilst Akazamzarak was speaking, Bon'Ox was slightly shaken by the sight of such a creature, the battle-shaman looked to Ak' as he conversed with the spirit and was prepared if it tried anything funny.

"Aaaaaah." The bush spirit began to shake slightly in excitement, some leaves falling of it as it replied "Aaaakh aakh!" "Naakh-lab krur agh mazl nargzab!" - (Yeeees!, Yees!) (Give me your finger and you will have what you want!)

Bon'Ox blinked and just looked at the spirit for a moment before he looked at Akazamzarak, he looked right back at him but Ak' trusted himself, and he hoped that he wasn't about to lose his finger or something. He extended his finger towards the creature and waited.

After Akazamzarak put out his finger, the bush shook excitedly before its roots began to untangle, expanding out towards Ak' and wrapping the roots around his finger for but a moment, leaving a small mark on it before tangling the roots back up to remake its leg. The spirit seemed to glow for a moment after it touched Akazamzarak's finger before it then crouched back down again into a tiny bush just like before.

Akazamzarak held onto his finger for a moment, inspecting the mark whilst Bon'Ox let out a sigh of relief, he had thought that they had ended up in a more nefarious realm and that Ak' was going to be tricked into pacting with a sinister lesser.
